is there any way to look at DHL or EMS for receiving adress and name (without having a shipping number) to track the shipping?

Well, I suppose they'd have to ship the others first It took 10-11 days for the first ASICs to reach Jeff and the Foundation, so there should probably be 50-75 devices reaching their owners this week...assuming Avalon is indeed true to their word and not just jerking us around to increase Batch #2 orders.

If you read the bitcoinfoundation blog it says: Yifu arrived in New York City last night, after more than two months in China finishing his masterwork. With him, Avalon’s first ASIC V1.
It does not say "DHL dropped off a package" like in the case of jgarzik It's safe to assume Yifu took the 2nd machine through customs himself. Suitcase on the plane to NY? If you want to know how the package from jgarzik traveled, then it's as simple as asking him the tracking number that was on the box and tracking that on the DHL tracking site. It should give a good idea of when it was delivered by the HK forwarder at the HK port to DHL, when it was going through HK customs, put on a plane and how long it was held at US customs. One can cut off the detailed delivery to jgarziks house, we all know what date that was and don't need to know the exact address... I'm surprise nobody has asked him so far... simple paper trail and irrefutable proof (unless DHL is a shareholder in the big ASIC scam ;-) By the way, I thought there was way too much DHL tape on the packages that were pictured, either the boxes fell apart or they opened it for inspection, but usually they can close them more discretely. These boxes looked like they were rounded at the edges. Not sure those comply to the ISTA 3A Test procedure for small parcel shipments: Each item should be surrounded by at least two inches (5.08 cm) of sheeting and placed two inches (5.08 cm) away from the box walls.

Yes! ... and I don't recall getting it before. I'm a bit afraid to log in. Probably just them being unpro - but it's a worry.

Definitely. Just took a quick look and they probably haven't updated their certificates yet, which isn't usually too much of a problem if they're attentive to it. Pagoda Box is just a cloud hosting site, so they're probably hosting with them while utilizing their certs. * puts on tinfoil hat Or they stole the certs to try and give a false sense of security during checkout. * takes off tinfoil hat

Good point, i thought the same, he could express post it from NY to J.Garzik also explaning the $400,- express bill.. So maybe Yifu had a flightticket for 20 jan. knowing he had two devices "shipped" with him... Sending only one to an core member to gain trust and showing a demo to BTC Foundation, putting in a batch 2 with no nonsense terms, (witch failed due to walletbits fuckup) worth 900k in BTC seems legit but also a very smart move.. But he i donn't want to sound like a troll but it's a very good one if Jeff would give some tracking info indeed....

I just called DHL and asked about my shipment status even though I don't have a tracking number. I was surprised when she said she would help me. She asked for my address details and name. Nothing came up. I was one of the earlier orders in the first 50. So I doubt if anyone is going to get their miner this week, but I could be wrong.
Give it a try 1-800-CALL-DHL and let us know.

That's packing tape. Customs tape is white and red and says customs all over it. If you shipped a LARGE box from China to US by DHL Express and customs tore into it, it would look like this.

BTW, and honestly, it never occurred to me that Jeff's unit may have been on the plane with TBF's unit, then shipped from NY.
