Today I expected a bigger gap between Mercedes and the others on such big track. I am excited to the race tomorrow.

The gap from Bottas in second to Verstappen in third (and even Ricciardo in fourth) was small, yes. The problem is, Hamilton was more than half a second ahead of Bottas again.
For the race, you'd imagine if Hamilton gets an okay start and gets into the first corner in the lead, then he's all but won. Barring safety cars or some other anomaly.

This race has a lot of unforeseen things happening,at least this was the case during last years.However seeing that Hamilton had 5 and with today pole six pole positions at this track it will be difficult for him not to win this.I know this is boring to watch on Tv but on the other hand looks like a sure win if we bet on Hamilton to win which at minimum should be with an odd of 1.40 or may be more.

Last qualifying with "Party mod" but it looks like a Q3 without any Ferrari powerd engine. Ferrari so worst this years, chassis and engine.

The problem is the deal with the FIA.
Ferrari engine lost around 50hp because of it.

Ferrari did a new engine and because of the new rules they can't touch it till the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Mercedes is using what Ferrari was using last year and they increased their power around 40hp

-50-40=-90

Ferrari engine has now 90hp less than Mercedes and they can't touch the engine till next year.

Why Mercedes can use it and it has been banned of Ferrari? Well, Mercedes can do everything.

It is damn politics that are hurting this sport so much, but Ferrari should be louder and press them more. It was really painful to watch the training sessions and qualies with Ferrari limping around. It's incredible how much politics managed to cripple them. They are more then a second slower then they were is Spa last year, that says it all.

Hope that it will be rain and dry periods tomorrow during the race so we have a thriller race and hopefully Ferrari can get lucky a bit and Merc unlucky.

Another easy win for Mercedes, another fail for Ferrari but hey they are probably saving money for 2021 or even 2022 since they can't touch the engine right now...

We need to hope for the weather now to be able to watch some fun races or it will be boring.
We are going in to fall after the summer and this can be a possibility since a lot of races are in Europe.

Don't know what to say about Ferrari, but I never expected that such times when they will fight with bottom teams like Haas or Alfa Romeo will come one day. It was great race for Renault - P4 and P5 + 1 point for Ricciardo for fastest lap. And now Renault almost reached Ferrari in construcors championship.

Now they are trying to "damaging" the Mercedes with the party mode but the damage it will irreversible.

Need to hope for the rain but again Mercedes even with the already banned but usable  DAS is in advantage since they can heat up tires faster than others.

@LTU_btc I was not surprised to see yesterday’s dull race, because Ferrari has lost it’s mojo to compete with Mercedes, and this season if they finish in the top 5 then it’ll be a big achievement for them. Also I feel here that it’s more about the winning mentality that Mercedes have instilled in Hamilton, and that’s something Ferrari has been unable to instil in it’s driver’s, and that’s why their drivers are performing poorly in comparison to Mercedes driver’s.

They have to change something here soon. They have lost fans,,, me included. Teammates should be able to fight each other, in fact, they should only be allowed to let each other win one time or two times a season,,, otherwise it disgusts people like me sorry to say. F1 has become a joke that we could never imagine happen before. What sad times:(

Yeah.
They also delayed the revolution for COVID, it was supposed to happen next year but now it will happen in 2022.

We got too much direction into Mercedes way during this year and now this is the results,

Are they better? Probably
Are they 1st only for their skill? Probably not, too many grey lines crossed without any consequence.

If you want to stop this - that teammates protect each other in races then teams should have only one driver in the circuit.
Mercedes is the team that invest money to their car and this is why they are able to win the races.

That accident looked horrible. It took a while before we saw in the replay what actually happened.

This is not always the case.Only this year Ferrari did not invest because they thought the Championship would be very short because of the pandemic.In previous years all teams have invested money into their cars but it looks like Mercedes has a better research and development team and also has better know how compared to other teams.

Yes, that didn't help. But I think as soon as Hamilton got through the first few corners on the opening lap, it was pretty much guaranteed that he'd win. Bottas can't compete because he's not good enough, Verstappen can't compete because his car's not good enough. Drivers and constructors championships are as good as over already. Still, we can't take anything away from Hamilton, he's a top driver performing at the top of his ability.

There was moment in the race Hamilton said on the teamradio that he was losing power. That could made the race and the championship more interesting but few seconds later he was still driving 320km/h and his engineer told him that it was already fixed.

Race yesterday very boring, but the rest of this session are the same. Start -> finish victory from Mercedes. Ferrari is so weak, also Kimi overtakes Ferrari with the same engine.

I also read this with less horse power, so all Ferrari powered teams have the same problem. Very sorry for Kimi he have not many chance this year for points. I will waiit and see if Kimi is still interested next year.
