Vettel already out in 1st Q of the session and I saw him very angry trowing a piece from the wheel on the floor and cursing on the team radio of why did Alfa's get in front of them just before the last lap of the session. This is the most stressed season I have ever seen for a pilot of Ferrari ...I mean, no one had this in his last year with Ferrari or other teams.

Yes Vettel out, but i'm happy for Kimi. Ocon block him all time at the last fast lap. But why do the racing engineers let the drivers out in such a bunch?? No one can make a fast time!?

It's gonna be a tougher season for them next year as they'll be back on the drawing board.  All those years of development wasted...  Vettel was supposed to win a championship with them by now.

Yes, this does look likely. And even within the Mercedes team... once again, if Hamilton gets through the first few corners in the lead, he wins the race. Bottas isn't willing to challenge in the way that Rosberg used to.

I would add that this is the first race where qualifying 'party mode' had been banned, and the Mercs had a huge advantage in qualifying... but this was expected anyway at this track, so may not be of much impact at the moment. Mercedes do seem very confident though and are saying no 'party mode' means they can run the cars in a more powerful mode all the time now. If true, this will just increase their already huge advantage.

And next season with limited development will be tough, too. As for Vettel... I think the last few years have shown that he's not really that great a driver. Even when Ferrari were briefly better than Mercedes, he still couldn't challenge them properly. It's starting to look like those 4 championships flatter him somewhat, with his talent being purely to be in the right place at the right time - Red Bull from 2010.

I expected Renault to so a lot better in the qualifications.

Let's wait what the race brings. I dont expect a podium with HAM, BOT  and VER. Red Bull is just too slow for this circuit.

Why  Hamilton didn't got a black flag?

Under exceptional circumstances the race director may ask for the pit entry to be closed during
the race for safety reasons. At such times drivers may only enter the pit lane in order for
essential and entirely evident repairs to be carried out to the car. A penalty under Article 38.3(d)
will be imposed on any driver who, in the opinion of the stewards, entered the pit lane for any
other reason whilst it was closed.

stop position for at least ten seconds and then re-join the race

Imagine a track harder than Monza with overtakes and no party mode if even Mercedes got problems today with overtakes what it will be?

Wow, what a race it was! So, after all, Italian GP was won by Italian team. Ofcourse, it's big luck factor involved which let Alpha Tauri to win, but Gasly really defended his position against Sainz very well.
It's not usual to see Mercedes making mistakes like they did today, but I can justify them. It's not really often situation when pits are closed due to accident near to entrance to it and Mercedes had to react very fast to make pit stop. And after all, Hamilton losses were minimal, he recovered very well after penalty. Bottas outscored him just by 3 points, while Verstappen didn't finnished at all. And Bottas had terrible race today, he wasn't able to do anything against Mclaren. I doubt it's because of absence of party mode because Lewis was fast as usual.
It was last race for Williams team under family management - end of long and historic era, it was emotional moment.
And do you guys think it's possible that Red Bull will swap Gasly and Albon this season?

Yes, it was a great race, and fantastic to see Hamilton have to fight his way up from so far back. I can't believe after everything that happened to him, Bottas was only just ahead.

It is a shame that this season most of the excitement comes from unexpected 'act of god' events such as safety cars and technical errors by the team. What we should be seeing is excitement from wheel-to-wheel racing from drivers in similarly matched cars. That is the dream for 2022.

But today, yes, it was good. And I'm very happy for Gasly

Marquez's  absence , in my opinion makes the race unpredictable in every series. Every racer has the opportunity to get on the podium. This can be seen from the difference between the winners in the previous session. I don't know when Marquez will be back, but I think if he had been in the race, the atmosphere would have been different. Hopefully get well soon and get back on track even though it's already difficult to become a champion this year. Marquez only has fifteen points while in first place Quartararo has seventy-five points. This difference is quite a lot.

I started to watch the F1 race yesterday expecting another boring race but what an awesome race has been.I am very sad for Carlos Sainz as he needed just one more lap to win the race for McLaren considerinf their last win was Canada 2012 with Jenson Button but congrats to the winner anyway.

Crazy day for the sports, and just when I was saying last edition how everything is boring and ruined, we have something to savor from this season already. And yes, we had to wait for an act of god, but hey, if we need god to make things exciting again, so be it. Nice entertainment, can we hope for more?

Same by MotoGP Hamilton or Marc are not on the front and it's a interesting race  . But what about Bottas, did he have mechanical problems? My opinion so sorry for Kimi with his weak engine, one after the other overtook him on the straight... no chance for points but the joke he is faster than Ferrari

We witnessed the most interesting race of the season or maybe more.
Gasly got his first ever win in F1 and it was very odd to see an Alpha Tauri on the top of the podium.
Next race Hamilton is going to be the winner again!

After hours of tests, Leclerc has been found ok and it will be allowed to race on the next GP.

The next Gp will be on this weekend again in Italy but this time in Mugello.

When Márquez are back that's right it's a other Atmosphäre, but i don't know about the fitness and can he drive from the begining at the tip? But all driver can look at the next years when he is back, to beat him i think next year also Márquez. This year are to much points for marc to win thats not possible.
