Today F1 added 3 more races to calendar - Nurburgring, Portimao and Imola:

There wasn't F1 races in Nurbrugring in recent years, but from what I remember, races there weren't very exciting. I know nothing about Portimao, so it will be interesting to see race there.
At same it was confirmed that there won't be race in USA, Brazil, Mexico and Canada. It's pitty, because races in Brazil and USA usually is very interesting.
And at the same time some events of IndyCar and NASCAR is hrld with spectators...

What a comeback,to race at Imola the legendary track where unfortunately Senna the best F1 driver of all times for me lost his life on 1 May 1994.This track is a really difficult and beautiful one and the good thing is that the security of F1 sport now is at the top level and fatalities are very rare in our time.

I just looked at the Portimao track because I didn't remeber it and from what I can see, I see a lot of spots where they can overtake.

At Formula 1, i think that's good more and older exciting tracks like Imola 👍.

At time the MotoGp FP4 runs, Marc and Eine are driving that's amazing and I waiting for the Quali and curious about the result.

That's correct after FP4 he gives up,to much strain during acceleration. My opinion is also Vetter for bis healt when he make a break to Brno. Then he comes without pain back. Also respect for him and Rins I think the have many pain until the driving!

And not to forget #46 are back at starting Position 4 ✌ sorry for Vinales but congratulation to Quartarar!

Yep is official, he will skip the GP.

This is an huge chance for Quartararo, if we will again he will have +50 points in the advantage of Marques.
In this probably shorter championship it will be a huge advantage since the fewer the GPs will be the bigger the variance it will be, and having 2 GP of advantage it will be almost no recoverable.

Very good race for all viewers at TV, so Fabio make a start to end victory -> amazing like A Marc ✌.

But also good performance Form the old star #46. very difficult race for all about 36° so i is a vier hard time to the end oft the race. But i'm a little bit sorry for the to engine failures Form Ducati and Yamaha the two driver are in the way to podium 😑

Also I didn't know about Portimao but when I see how it looks like, it's a very interesting circuit.

What I can say, it looks like interesting and good track to race. It reminds me other F1 track a bit, just not sure which one. Maybe Zandvoort or Istanbul.
Interesting, what configuration they are going to use, especially in first corner.

Minor F1 update.

The fact is Ferrari have no chance in 2020, with a shortened season and from a position so far behind Mercedes - where they are actually getting lapped in a race! Equally they have little chance in 2021 with the restrictions that have been put in place for that season due to the Covid19 pandemic. Perhaps with enough little changes they could be competitive in 2021, but it's a lot of effort for a single season before everything has to start again. I think the focus on 2022 makes absolute sense.

Confirmation of the above has now come from the Ferrari chairman (John Elkann).

Ferrari chairman says team cannot be competitive before 2022

"This year we are not competitive because of car design errors," Elkann said.
"We have had a series of structural weaknesses that have existed for some time in the aerodynamics and dynamics of the vehicle. We have also lost in engine power.
"The reality is that our car is not competitive. You saw it on the track and you will see it again."
Elkann said that Ferrari supported the decision taken at the height of the coronavirus pandemic to delay new rules aimed at closing up the field until 2022.
But he admitted that this decision, and the fact that teams have to use the same cars again in 2021 as this year, would penalise Ferrari "greatly, given that we start off poorly - and we must be realistic and aware of the structural weaknesses of the machine, with which we have been living for a decade".
He also addressed the team's decision not to renew Vettel's contract and replace him for 2021 with Spaniard Carlos Sainz.
"In the past 10 years we have had champions such as (Fernando) Alonso and Vettel, who have been world champions," Elkann said. "But it is undoubtedly more difficult to rebuild a cycle and ask patience to those who have already won compared to those who have the future ahead of them.
"We are laying the foundations for building something important and lasting, and the contract we signed with Charles proves it: five years, never so long in Ferrari's history.
"Leclerc and Sainz will make Maranello their home, will be close to our engineers. The new machine will be born with them."

It may be that this year and next both turn out to be a Mercedes procession, although Mercedes have said they're unsure how their car will perform in hot conditions, and there was that potential reliability issue from the first race...

Mercedes will presumably dominate the next 2 years until the new rules come into force, after which the cards will be shuffled again. Until then it will be a one man show, I fear. Mercedes have a little problems at very hot temperatures but the can reduce a little bit the power and the are fast enough.

But here's another rumor...  If the pink Merc is legal, Toro Rosso or whatever they're called now will build a car next year based on this year's RB16 and get Vettel to drive it.  Hmmm...  Vettel will be back at RBR in no time after Verstappen leaves.

Verstappen has a clause in his contract that he can leave if the team does not build a car that can compete for the title, so technically Verstappen can leave suddenly depending on the car performance.

Congratulations to Yamaha, their drivers managed to get on the podium to receive the trophy. The incredible surprise of the Andalusian GP F. Quartararo won again. This makes it the leader of the standings with 50 points. Interestingly, it turns out that F Quartararo is only included in the Yamaha Petronas satellite team, not from the manufacturer's team that has large funds for research. In history, I remember the name Marco Melandri, who also had a record winning streak with a satellite team.

If the car Racing Point builds will be really competitive and would give Vettel a chance to fight for winning races that would be good for Vettel and F1 in general.However I strongly believe that Racing Point will not offer such a car with this performance next year.We have to see the behavior of this car in the upcoming races and if it is on the upside then maybe they will be able to offer such car to Vettel.
