Well, we rarely can see Ferrari driver don't get to Q3 in normal conditions without any technical issues. I didn't had big expectations about Ferrari, but didn't expected that they will be so bad. Mercedes is racing in their own league again and now it seems that only Verstappen can make challenge for them.

Austria is a fast track and totally Fits Max driving style.
I believe that he can win this race and start the season with a win over Mercedes.
We just have to see what strategy Mercedes is going to follow in the race.

Today Max starts with the Medium tyres, so i hope for a exciting race, but i think only the Mercedes or Max have a Chance to win.

Ferrari is super slow but LeClerc is a monster <3.

Very fun GP, the new car for Ferrari is coming in 2 GP, 1 more GP of suffering next week always on this track.

It was an awesome race indeed and I went crazy when I saw Lando Norris on podium exactly as Zak Brown haha as I love this kid and his determination to win but first of all a big congrats to Bottas and a big boo towards Hamilton for that 2nd incident with Albon. Ferrari has been lucky to get 2nd spot and this is just because of the massive talent of Leclerc as that overtake on Norris was pure class from him.

Wow, what a race to begin season. Totally deserved win of Bottas. Vettel is spinning again. Podium for Leclerc is amazing achievement because Ferrari today looked more like mediacore team. And Norris, what a way to get on podium with fastest lap n last lap, which let him to overtake Hamilton. And Red Bull ended with 0 points at their home GP. Already can't wait for next race.

They can have maybe a little improvement next week but the big step should be in 2 weeks.
I don't think also that the step can be so big to compete with Mercedes.

To be homes Mercedes engines got a lot of problems today so they MAYBE need to turn down the rpm of the engines.

2 engines failed on Williams and Force Ind. ehm on the Pink Mercedes and both Bottas and Hamilton got several "critical warnings" from the box.

Yeah that's right, but most cars have not shone with steadfastness this weekend. But for big updates the time is to short. so i think we have i similar picture than the last weekend. Bottas and Max love the Austrian circuit so my opinion is one of this two driver will win when the cars good enought.

It really was an awesome race yesterday to watch on Tv.A lot of fun and race happenings that defined how the race would end.I do not agree with the majority that indicate the fault from Hamilton side in the incident between Hamilton and Albon.Albon could have gone just a bit outside the track just like everybody does in similar situations.

I watched this incident few more times and I'm still not sure, was it right decision to punish Hamilton. It was more like just racing accident. But maybe Hamilton intentionally didn't left enough space for Albon to push him out of track. Probably if Hamilton wouldn't be punished for this, there would be too much noise that he is favored by FIA.

Not for me.  Lol.  I quit watching a few laps after Verstappen had some technical issue.  And it looked like it was gonna be the Bottas - Hamilton show *as usual*.  Was surprised to see Leclerc get second.  Bad for my bet.

According to rumors the version 2 of this Ferrari should be available from the third GP

BUT

According to more recent rumors, Ferrari maybe will use some of the improvements next week on AUSTRIA 2 GP.


The GP will be this week in 3 days we will have answers.

More big news about 2021 season. Fernando Alonso is going to return to F1, he will race for Renault.

If it adds more competition it is welcome but if they rush and they normally can suffer reliability problems then it will be worse both for the fans and both for Ferrari themselves.I hope they know what are doing and have passed all the tests before putting this version 2 on track.

^ ^  I'm not hopeful.  I mean we've seen and heard all of it before.  And it all ends up still being Merc at the top.   

Can't wait for the new revamped rules.  That at least could be interesting

Ferrari struggles with the low speed, at Austria the power from the engine is very important I think.

Could be good for F1 I guess...  But I think getting some new faces and talents in is a better idea imho.  

Anyway what's next for Vettel?  I could see him pair up with Verstappen and Hamilton.  Both Albon and Bottas look despensible.
