Unlikely! Sir! What you post, while appearing highly unlikely to any person of average intelligence is positive FACT to the BFL Clown Crew! Common Sense and Critical Thinking be damned! They don't need it!
Sigh - if I was on a plane now all this crap would go away VERY soon ... Oh well - it will happen ... some time Thats is a very nice a subtle way of kicking someone in the balls. That is finesse you can't grow on trees... +100

Damn I can't wait until Jan/Feb/Mar when someone has finally released an ASIC and all this crap goes away.
Me too!!! By the way ... did you mean 2013 or 2014? P.S. When are you going to visit BFL? Any dates yet? At this point they might give Kano a refund for the plane ticket they purchased [in theory]. Just a Reflex from all the refunds going on elsewhere. They probably dream of refunds by now. Okay, now I am trolling..!

@ Avalon [The Team]
Furthermore, do you have any opinions or insights into the discussion that is going back and forth between several members in this thread? (The software folks and the hardware folks)

Delay? I wouldn't call these "delays" by our competitors, rather I would call them excuses. Excuses for their poor business estimations whilst being oblivious to the obvious fact: do not quote the date you get from a third company to your customers. Have Avalon had more delays before? Yes, we had. Many times internally things have not gone as planned, but this is also exactly why we announced the original shipping date at the end of Feb, 2013, and now have moved up to mid-Jan after eliminating potential and actual problems. We plan, and we set leeway for mistakes and problems.
A delay is announcing a 4-7 day delay more than a month ahead of scheduled delivery date. A excuse is repeatably announcing 2 week delays one after another passing the supposed delivery date, or missing the supposed delivery date and push their new estimate more than a month later.
Nobody qualifies for the word "transparency" in the current ASIC market, not even us.
Sorry for the misinformation. I swore you guys had said to start with Jan 1, 2013. I seem to have remembered the wrong month. You are right moving a shipment date up isn't a delay.

Sorry if I misunderstood. I took this Refund ◦ A full refund will happen if not all of the 300 pre-orders are filled within 2 weeks, ( Oct. 8th, 2012 )
◦ In addition, while this is very unlikely to happen, to further protect our customers, if the sample batch produced at end of the year ( Dec, 2012) is defective, a full refund will also be issued before the end of Jan, 2013. We will be covering the associated cost for the NRE, not the customers. Success of the sample units directly implies project success and production unit assembly will begin immediately after. To have ment that the chips would be ready by Jan 1, 2013 or refunds would be issued. It states clearly that only if the chips are done and defective would refunds be issued. To me it says you guys had been shooting for a late december test core. I do see now how there is no way to make Jan 1 shipping off of that. http://forum.bitsyn.com/viewtopic.php?pid=10#p10I used this rather then the post on BCT because it was edited in September not October 24th. I couldn't find a better date maybe link me an old post that has Feb 1, 2013 in it.

No. But having a BFL ad in the signature & "behaving" in a conform way to be eligible to have a chance to win a (non-existing!) product makes someone an asshamster.
Speaking of asshamsters... what's up with still liking Butterfly Labs on Facebook Frizz? I mean do you walk the walk, or just talk? http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/frizz.supertramp?fref=ts BTW, Krishnamurty was a narcissist. Explains a lot actually.

i see matching addresses, minus the city name (leawood and overland park border each other there, so that doesn't shock me much.) what else did i miss? 1200SF warehouse; 4800SF Office. As of Nov. 14th, space was still available, but we were shown equipment moving in prior to that date. Possibly, the earliest starting least date was Dec. 1st. No sprinkler system. Least rate.

May make it hard to insure OR............arson to come soon for insureance money The sprinkler aspect is minor compared to the size of the manufacturing/warehouse area. 1200SF is not a very big space. That's about the size of an average barn. Now put in a couple dozen workers and you're about out of space. Speaking of workers, let's talk about their safety and reexamine that non-existent sprinkler system. And what about the space lost to the area immediately adjacent to not one, but two emergency exits?

WTF? Does someone have a floor plan rendering too? Ok, if so, re-arrange the layout so that people walk near the exit instead of sit right in front of the door. Now, nobody at BFL will burn to death in the highly-unlikely event of a structural concrete fire I'm sure everyone likes the new BFL location as much as I do I hope they can get a logo on the side of the building- great location.
