I have 5x RX480 (Saphhire Nitro +) with Blockchain drivers and custom BIOS. I'm limited to 1000W power. I'm currently mining ETH + LBRY but I have some wierd errors. GPU stops every few minutes and then starts again... I tryed lowering dcri but no help. Now my settings are:
Clock: 1050 Voltage: 950 Memory: 2080 voltage: 950
Can you tell me what settings on GPU do you use for this combination?
I run the same set up to the following numbers: Clock: 1160 Voltage: 900 Memory: 2020 Voltage: 920 Powlim: -10 I get 28-29 Mhs with this setting and run my machines at 1000W with 6 cards. Good luck

Guys i have a problem with the miner and cant figure what is causing it exactly. On my personal PC i have one nvidia 1070 for testing purposes. When i run Claymore Miner there, the whole computer start to work really slow. The mining is fine, there is no problem there, but i can barely use the computer for anything else. Its Windows 7 pro 64 bit, i7 2500k, 16 gb ram and SSD samsung 840 pro. Its a pretty decent computer.
On all of my rigs which have the cheapest processors possible, running Claymore's Miner is not problem for the computer. It's not noticeable at all. You can browse the internet or whatever. The have Windows 10 pro 64 bit.
So tell me what you think, is this the OS difference thing? Or is it something else? Please help!

I only able to get 8 MH/s ETH with my Gigabyte GTX 970 regardless the miner I use. And every time I start mining I get "PerfCap Reason:VRel" in GPU-Z while the "Power Consumption" is around 45% TDP. Most people get from 14 to 23 MH/s on GTX 970 Windows 7 64 bit sp1 miner the latest version NVidia Drivers 388

Hi!
my problem is very strange and i cant find a solution to it. The miner starts up great checks my Graphics Card and says all is well. R9 270 btw ... then it starts mining the GPU goes to 100% BUT Core and Memory clock stay at 300 MHz instead of 1400 which is defined in the card settings .. so the card starts but only in low power mode how do i get it to work correctly???
This may not fix the problem but ensure that the swap file is at least 16GB . Some more information on your setup would also help, such as OS, Drivers used and miner config.

Hey guys,
Just a quick question to see if any of you came across such issue:
After the latest Windows 10 Pro upgrade I started having this wierd issue with one of my cards (MSI RX580 8GB) in PCIE_16x slot 0 (ASUS Z270-P). The miner would get stuck at POOL/SOLO output and mining would never start. I tried a few things and noticed that when I disabled GPU 0 (using the -di argument) the remaining cards would start mining without any issues. I suspected some issue with the card, raiser or the motherboard. I did some troubleshooting and noticed that any card inserted in that PCIE slot was having the issues so that ruled out the raisers or cards. Provided that the only change made was the windows upgrade, I tried to download and install latest chipset and ME drivers, latest BIOS and did a fresh install of the blockchain drivers (using DDU). None of that helped so I thought the slot is faulty or something but then I noticed something very strange...when I plug in a monitor into the impacted card, everything started working (or at least for the past 48 hours). The monitor does not even need to be turned on as long as the DVI cable is plugged in on both ends.
Has anybody experienced such issue or am I going crazy here 😂

So, I have a 980ti that gives me a hashrate of a little over 21 MHz/s when running in benchmark mode. But once I start actual mining using Nanopool, it drops to ~14 MHz/s, which is roughly a 33% drop. Now, I know that one should expect a certain drop in performance (e.g. 1% pool fee +1% miner fee), but a drop of 33% is too much!
Any reasons for that?

Return question - WHY? Why upgrade or update windows? especialy on mining rig? It works good - leave it as it is! Updates wont give you hasgrate increase. Honestly speaking you wont see any difference at all. You have about 70% of seeng new problems instead of any improvements.. Trying Clay 10.2 will see how it goes. 10.1 was highly unstable and unusable.. So, I have a 980ti that gives me a hashrate of a little over 21 MHz/s when running in benchmark mode. Benchmark is not the same as real minig. it will never have the same result. Also as far as I remember you have to specify difficulty or epoch for benchmark. In your case it looks like you are starting benchmark with a lower difficulty than it is at the moment in real mining

You may look at your task manager to check your cpu, memory, hdd utilization, you may find application or processes that may caused it, you may also kill those unwanted process if there's any I have 3 AMD GPUs and for some reason i only get half speed on my 3rd GPU. Anybody have this issue ? Ive tried different motherboard windows 7 pro 64bit.
check the other GPU if has high temps? is this a modded? you may check also your risers

Trying Clay 10.2 will see how it goes. 10.1 was highly unstable and unusable..
A clean Windows install+FCU, AMD 17.11.2 and Claymore's v.10.1 is the most stable setup I have ever had. 1 month now with no problems at all Btw, 17.11.4 got released, did anyone try it out?

This is an Ethash Algo, same configuration with Ethereum ETH and ETC, you may use the pool below for mining. https://ellaism.org/mining/that coin is worth a try I guess, might be helpful if you let us know if this is profitable.

I love Decred. Tip: I mine Decred using Claymore's with Ethereum, sell ETH and investing in PoS mining that yield about 1.8% every 28 days: https://docs.decred.org/mining/proof-of-stake

Yeah, i already did that, the only thing that works is killing the miner task.

Thanks all for the help with Claymore config file examples. I got it running with Win 10 1709 (FCU) + Claymore 10.2 + AMD 17.11.4 All running smooth. PS. there is no change from Beta drivers + Clay 10.0 + Win 10 1703. So the down time is not worth it. I will keep my other miner on the old setup.
