Wow. Interesting bitcoin as salary... yes because nowadays bitcoins become larger and larger worldwide.

That will be interesting only to those people who are involved in bitcoin world. Even though bitcoin become larger worldwide it doesn't mean all employee must be pay through bitcoin, that will be very difficult to be happen and unless the government accept bitcoin as their currency into their country. For sure the employee can do nothing about it.

For Regular Job? No because you cant be sure how much the exchange rate it will be when you receive it after your working 8 hours a day. what if you you have fixed 1 btc sallary every month and that month the btc exchange rate price is only 250$ would you be happy?. bitcoin today has no stable price yet to make it use as a sallary for daily regular job. so NONONO for me.

I agreed with you pal! I think some of the member here didn't see that, maybe because they're not employee that's why it's okay for them to accept bitcoin as salary. Unless if Bitcoin has a stable price amount of 1000$ up to 5000$.

Actually I don't understand what's the problem with receiving payments in Bitcoin. Why should we care whether the government accepts Bitcoin as their currency or not?

It would take only one more step before you'd have your payment in any currency you want - you should make the exchange,  that's it.

No I will not accept it as my salary due to the fact I cannot pay my normal bills for my house with it easy, I have to do a lot of stuff to make it an other currency.
When this is possible directly I most likely will consider accepting my salary in bitcoins, it can also be nice of course due to the fact you are controlling it by yourself.

I think that was good for the future of bitcoin. I have no problem to recieve bitcoin as my salary if there are more place in near my home that know about bitcoin. And then the more people will accept bitcoin. For now, I only can use my bitcoin in online transaction.

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?

I cannot accept bitcoin as my salary even I'm not a employee at the present time now, Because the disadvantage that I saw from it, is the ups and down of the price of bitcoin/fluctuation. Unless the price is fix to 1000$ Grin Cheesy
I think the judgment of many people to choose a job is that they get a fixed income and large? if he does not earn a fixed income becayse of fluctuations in bitcoin I thought it would be quite risky to work in bitcoin and receive payment in bitcoin ?

Bitcoin serves as an best additional income, but its not affordable to get paid in bitcoins as price is too volatile and if goes down in future then it can affect our income.

Bitcoin is a good currency but its still not so far that we can do this due to the fact that you almost not pay anything with the bitcoin.
Normal billings still have to be done in our own currency and that is making it difficult to receive it in bitcoins.

And if people care for the price volatility, they should just spend their bitcoin whenever it needs.

Accepting it in fiat will just result for their bitcoin to be always spend regularly.

Still it's good for fiat to take care of those things in real world.

Even how much the  price of bitcoin as long  as  it stables then it might possible to accept it as our  salary but  as of now bitcoin price moves anytime and we cant get any assurance if we intent to decide to recieve it as our salary basis which it would really affect the amount of  our salary.

if my boss comes to me to offer me that choice then id tell him that i would only accept a part of my salary as btc reason for this is that what if bitcoin fails and becomes useless i wouldnt want my whole salary to become useless but what if bitcoin becomes a succes more then it is then i have a part in it atleast. this seems like the safest way and i like safe sometimes.

People who are having good job with descent salary will never prefer to accept salary in bitcoins as they will be having differences in their income depending on the price of bitcoins which can be risky.

If you can choose to get a certain percentage of your salary as bitcoin, then it is better to accept 10% bitcoin and save the coins.

Let me tell you one thing though i can be off-topic for doing this, but what you are doing is against the rules of the forum and is considered spamming because you are posting 2 replies one after the other, if you want to quote 2 comments then you can do it in one post as well like how i did for this, be careful next time.

But I don't think that companies will prefer to pay salary in two different ways, either they will pay fully in bitcoins or in fiat, and as price is not stable at a moment I will not prefer to accept salary in bitcoins.

the company will not take big risks to pay their employees with bitcoin, because of the price volatility is too risky. bitcoin is more like is used as an investment, rather than as a currency. because some of the world's currencies are very stable. no idea if bitcoin into currencies that have price volatility.

Yes companies will think twice to pay their employees in bitcoin as price is not stable and if price falls down in future then it will be a huge loss for the companies too.

Said the one who is working for a signature campaign.  Aren't you already accepting cryptocurrency as payment (salary) for your effort weekly?  Funny  that you are saying other things that you are doing at this moment.  Anyway, i wont mind accepting bitcoin or any form of currency as long as i can convert it to cash.
