In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
I cannot accept bitcoin as my salary even I'm not a employee at the present time now, Because the disadvantage that I saw from it, is the ups and down of the price of bitcoin/fluctuation. Unless the price is fix to 1000$   Neither can I , you know there will be so much problem if we are going to receive our salary that is in bitcoin , and right that's the ups and downs or the fluctuation . does any of you wan't to receive an inexact salary ? you should still pick the real money instead of bitcoin when it comes to your job . |

But the thing is, bitcoin will never cost $1 unless something replaces it or the internet all but fails. Since bitcoin is inflation proof in that no more than 21 million coins will ever be in existence, bitcion will never be as worthless as the dollar which is actually less than worthless. Which you will realize if you ever manage to get your head around the fiat scam. |

At this time, no I would not. Bitcoin is so volatile right now, the risks outweigh the positives. Yes, I could make thirty percent profit in fiat in a day, but I could also lose the same.

One dollar is almost impossible. bitcoin won't dump that much. but yes. no one know about the future. bitcoin price is increasing now. but it is possible that it get decreased again. but if someone accept payment in bitcoin he'll accept the current fair price of bitcoin according to dollar and bitcoin rate. so the price really won't a problem if the person sell his bitcoin. but if he hold then he may be in profit and he may be in lose. |

You do not need markets accepting BTC, there are couple credit card issuers.
Charge with BTC and spend wherever cc accepted.

Converting bitcoin to fiat currency in not a big deal now, but what will you do if you see sudden price fall in the price of bitcoins in future? Will you still prefer to accept salary in bitcoins? As it can take your salary even to a half level. |

Right now, I'd say no. If you ask me why... well, as you can see the price is going up and down and not just by small amounts . Let's say you're payed one hundred dollars in bitcoin and then something happens that reduces the price of the bitcoin and you end up with a lot more that 100$, but the main thing , for me, would be the price jumping and falling.

Funny that you are saying other things that you are doing at this moment. Anyway, i wont mind accepting bitcoin or any form of currency as long as i can convert it to cash. A genius point you have picked, from that point if we look then each and every user of this forum is enrolled for a job and are getting their salaries in bitcoin or any other altcoin, so with that it is proved that every user of bitcoin or those who know about bitcoin will readily accept salary in bitcoin if they find a better opportunity with a higher salary. |

I don't think I'm ready for that, I already have my stash of BTC I'm comfortable with, we should remember that it's still a risky investment. I know many others are too but I think BTC and crypto should be no more than ten-twenty percent of your whole portfolio . I understand if many here share a different view.

That is true, but at the moment the price is good so people are fine with being paid in Bitcoin. I have changed my mind since I last posted here, I would not like to receive Bitcoin as my salary. It is very dangerous as the price goes up and down quite a lot. |

I think for a high value and bitcoin bitcoin accepted in all circles I'm sure everyone is ready to accept a salary of bitcoin. of course it will turn around when the price of bitcoin has a small price or not received at all traders. This is actually quite risky? let alone the work would have long-term concerns |
