...make sure you download an ethminer with cuda support (cuda is used for nvidia cards)...somebody give him an example of a bat file...I think he just needs the bat file for an nvidia card here....
I have a cuda I am mining at
https://etc.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=login

I just made a very simple bat file but its just for the suprnova pool
ethminer -G -SP 2 -S etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -O USERNAME.WORKER:x

I think the killer app for ETC is the behavior of ETH users.

I can not believe the stupidity of this https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/8679/51-attack-pool-against-etc and this http://51pool.org/

Don't they realize that they will push every half normal ETH user (and miner) towards ETC if they proceed with this kind of stuff.

I have GTX 1070 but it says No GPU device with sufficient memory was found with Ethminer Genoil

any ideas Huh

Try adding --gpu-device 0

You probably have a onboard gpu on your mobo.

Add : --opencl-platform 1

I had that problem with my AMD GPU rig, and I tried to ad "--opencl-platform 1" but still had a problem. btw rig was on new motherboard with integrated intel graphic card. There were no uninstall option to delete Intel drivers, I disconected onboard GPU in BIOS but still no change.
So I went to AppData\Local or AppData\Roaming can not remember now, but one of this two directories and I manually deleted Intel dir where are onboard graphics drivers were and after that everything was working great...the problem was solved Wink

I have a ton of rigs with different issues like this.
_Always_ solved by the platform modifier.   0,1 or 2.

BUT

Considering its a NVIDIA, he should use the -U  .. not -G
-G,--opencl  When mining use the GPU via OpenCL.
-U,--cuda  When mining use the GPU via CUDA.

Even tho it has opencl, ive had better experience with -u.

Your BIOS will say somthing like, "turn off embedded graphics when gpu detected = y-n"

You need to do this before you connect any gpu to mobo and not after.

I had this same issue with my 2 rigs with r7 370 cards in them....I was using windows...downloaded both ethminer and Claymore....tried both...same result. What seemed to work for me was really looking carefully at the bios...I disabled 'Intel Virtualisation'...and anything that used the cpu's built in gpu...after that, all cards were recognized. * With multiple card systems, you have to me patient...sometimes put one card in at a time, let it connect, then reboot manually, then it will show in device manager as a display gpu..repeat the process with each added card. Also, some boards may not like 4 cards in the first 4 slots...I put 4 cards in the first 4 slots, then skipped the fifth pcie and plugged the last card in the last pcie slot...all 5 cards worked great ever since! Also, windows 7 is fussy with more than 4 cards...go to windows 8.1 or 10 for 5 card rigs...or linux is even batter (better hashrate per card). Hope this helps somebody. Took me 12+ hours to get my two rigs up and mining (Ushing Claynore without decred or siacoin...seemed to slow down etc mining a bit...not sure if this is 'fixed'...also, the value from decred is not enough to offset the loss of etc when mining in dual mode...and dual mode really pushes your gpu's...I found better temps with 'mode 1 (only etc) than with decred enabled on Claymore's.

Absolutely agree! Attacks on ETC will lead into more sympathy for ETC, most likely also help from miners, and it will damage ETH's credibility - in any case.
