Let's port augur to etc. The  rep will be distributed in proportion to your etc balance in a specific future block. Someone up to the task? I can work full time for this. All for free. I bought a lot sub 100k and I will do everything to help etc.

We can port all major eth projects to etc.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Ow no worry i am chill, relaxt and i take it easy Tongue

I was just saying that the trollbox from poloniex is not usefull, they should delete that chatbox, not only because of ETC but for all the coins.

I'm not talking about the 50% increase what u say (i know how that works), i say: when some ppl start talking bad about a coin in the trollbox, panicsellers will sell directly.. This while the messages on the trollbox are based on nothing. So that trollbox only hurt coins and the cryptocurrency.

If you ask me I would say that only 0.3% of the people from trollbox are actually trading ... the rest are only talking shit .... that is my opinion about the trollbox Smiley

I hear what you are saying, but I believe the trollbox serves a purpose. For myself who does not base my buy/sell view from one trollbox from one exchange do welcome the fact that others do. Makes it more interesting Smiley

ETH has to HF again, because the existing HF didn’t expect ETC chain to survive and is vulnerable to replay attack.

https://twitter.com/Datavetaren/status/758023070674259968

I'm sure ETH bagholders will be thrilled with another vote for a HF.

This is actually wrong.
ETC is the one needing a hardfork as the ETH chain clients have the code.

So seemingly ETH can abuse ETC now.

Vitalik:
This is completely technically wrong; ETH clients will accept no chain without block 1920k containing the fork transition

(the tool he answered deleted his post, lol fail.)

Not sure what Vitalik is talking about but it's not about TX replay. If you move ETC it will also move ETH on the other chain, and vice versa. This will probably mess up tons of dapps too. Seeing that ETH still has more value per token than ETC it's certainly in ETH's best interest to protect that value and prevent TX replay. Not to mention that they are the ones on the fork and failed to execute said fork in a responsible way.

And as a general advice, please stop listening to Vitalik, he's way too emotionally entangled in this. Find some real facts, look at the code, whatever. Don't take somebody's word at face value (from either side of the debate).

Funny news for miners.

People are over-paying so much on renting hashpower that the most profitable mining now is .. nicehash.

To make a profit on renting power today you need to get way below 0.15 btc/gh/day
But people are paying 18-20.

So right now.. "nicehash-mining" is better than ETC and ETH.

ETC down  from 38$ pr day/100Mh to 11$ /day  (higher diff+price)
ETH up      from  8$ pr day/100Mh to 9,5$/day   (lower diff+price)

(Nicehash at 12)

(pro tip: check what other coins that lost a lot of hashingpower in this "conflict".. u may do a low diff scoop)

i always mine there, changed the settings but yeah not working.
Edit: added -esm 3 -allcoins 1 and working now... on ETH i didnt use those esm and allcoins..

Can i also mine etc / dcr (using the claymore miner) without esm or allcoins? Dont know what from those 2 is needed.
