Well, things like these happen to most coins. Should not be too big of a problem for us or for the value.

Maybe this will help you:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ethereum-exchanges-attempts-to-list-etc-leads-to-losses/

http://themerkle.com/ethereum-developers-cost-yunbi-exchange-40000-etc-due-to-replay-attack/

http://www.altcointoday.com/chinese-exchange-yunbi-lost-40000-etc/

Or maybe the statement from Yunbi itself?

https://yunbi.com/bulletins

"YUNBI also has lost more than 40k ETC during the attack.
But we need to take that cost by ourselves and will not let YUNBI users to bear the lost."

Any serious crypto person cannot and does not take ETC seriously, even if it has insane fake volume action.  Without that it is DED and just waiting for dump part (i'm sure it may have another pump but who the hell knows or cares).  Just like ETH has it's fake vol. party since new year.

It sounds like a failure to understand relay problems. Poloniex managed to do a proper split so it can be done.

Can you message me privately with the issue you are having?

If you are mining DON'T USE EPOOL.IO.

Pretty much all day...

ETH:: No new jobs were received for 5 mins - something wrong with the pool, disconnect.

And yet it still is accepting shares. Means its mining old blocks.

You sound like someone who's a bit angry for missing the train where tons of profit were made.
If you dont like ETC or support the idea behind it, why do you feel the need to spread fud here?

Surely you could spend your time elsewhere where you'll actually gain something?

A couple weeks ago, Bitwala started accepting all major altcoins for our services, http://about.bitwa.la/bitwala-accepting-all-major-cryptocurrencies/

We are now also accepting Ethereum Classic! Bitwa.la is the first service to international offer bank transfers and a debit card that lets you directly use Ether Classic as a funding option. Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions!

Cheers
Jeff from bitwa.la

More and more exchanges want the original Ethereum classic available for the people. This means it is really not going away. What will happen to Vitalik if his fork fails? Will he go back to the original chain?

I think Vitalik will want to leave ETH soon but seems likely he needs to stay to avoid being sued. What is clear with ETC is that people who love crypto are taking a stand of what we want crypto to stand for.

And that is not a bail out. Funny anecdote when Bitcoin was created the Bitcoin genesis contained the message "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks".

Vitalik knows his crypto history so I doubt he supported a bailout HF. My guess would be that he is being used by the people around him.

Crypto has no regulation so it's impossible to get sued.

Ofc it is possible. Once you make yourself public saying you are the creator and ultimate decision maker behind something, legal actions can follow. Regardless of if it's regulated or no.

Thank you.

The private keys for your accounts should be in the keystore folder (e.g. AppData\Roaming\Ethereum\keystore in Windows)

Do a test restore to make sure your backup is recoverable.

https://prohashing.com is now supporting ETC. It is a PPS pool so fees are a bit higher 4.99 percent. But the advantage is they are a script only pool so you can use your ASIC miners to get ETC!
