I've been a member for several months now. I want to post in Project Development about a free, online bitcoin unconference I'm working on as part of Agora I/O. This is the second time around for Agora I/O. The last one was a great success at 70 speakers and 2,200 participants. This time I want to include a complete track of 24-34 or more talks on bitcoin. And I want to let the community know so interested individuals can sign up to speak at the conference. No money involved btw.

Hello.

Please whitelist me, I would like to buy some bitcoins with my paypal account. Being a non-US resident, this seems like one of the few options available to me. I also tried #bitcoin-otc, but with no luck.

Thank you.

I want out of here too! I can't stand being all caged up and I can't wait to be released unto this ripe, unsuspecting world. Spam-free, of course. I have lots of questions and comments to make about hardware, and the sooner, the better. I think what I have to say will be better and sooner responded to if I put it in the right place. Sales are ending soon and I wanna do some buying.

I give my humble and solemn word to all on this forum that I will not spam.

Thanks!

I'd like out of the newbie area please.  Just trying to purchase goods with my bitcoins, no time to hang out and chit chat in the other forums Smiley

Someone is selling game cards/time for an online game I play, trying to get a few before they are gone.

Thanks,

Rob

Hello, I consider this to be quite intriguing, the 5 post/4 hour rule, I have been at several forums and consider myself very HQ (High Quality) and am a person that is turning to BitCoin as a last resort too make money, I'm sure you guys see many applications like this everyday (I have been a moderator before elsewhere) and mine is probably another insignificant one without any issue that requires a solution, but instead of attempting to socially engineer anyone or make my plea similar to one that was whitelisted, I decided to be honest because I really believe I could contribute a whole lot more if I wasn't confined with in these boundaries. Thank you for your time.

Hello, I am simply here to announce that we are currently providing free services relating to motion graphics / video services here: http://www.fxriot.net/?p=86.

FX Riot has also adopted Bitcoin and acknowledges Bitcoin as a legitimate mode of exchange.

However, to support the Bitcoin community, exclusively to the Bitcoin community, we're offering unlimited free motion graphics services for anything Bitcoin related - for life.

I would just like to make an announcement thread and check back into it every now and then to provide updates on what we've accomplished.

I want to start a case study where a whole town accepts bitcoins as a social experiment. I'm an Aussie in Romania and I think I can get some traction on the idea here.

I've also started accepting bitcoins in my business for virtual assistants as of today and my first rig with 3x radeon hd 6990 is currently in transit Smiley

Would like to get out of here to post a link to a blog post I've written on Bitcoin. Thanks!

I'm interested in the Economy section of the blog forum.

The first comment on my blog post is related to the security of user’s computer, which would in most cases be less secure than a bank’s IT. I'm curious to hear feedback from the Bitcoin community on that.

Another whilelist request. Long time lurker, but first time user/poster - I usually can figure out what I need without posting. However, I will like to communicate with another poster with a different thread.
Thanks.

I'm usually an active poster on forums.

I don't have a rig that I can mine on at the moment, but I will be using the marketplace with the help of a middleman service to gather some reputation around here, and I will be selling/trading items to get some coin in my purse, persay.

I won't be spamming, and I certainly have read over most everything that interested me in this newbie section. Sad

I'd like to get feedback from other users concerning the security of Bitcoin: do online wallet services offer sufficient protection if ones' computer is note secure?

Although the thinking behind the bitcoin currency is valid, it does suffer a weakness in the storage - would like to get some feedback on that statement because I can't judge it from a technical perspective.
