Even after all these pages there's still some people whining about the distribution method.  While I'm sure suggestions are most welcome, check your damn tone and stop sounding so adamant about how "wrong" or "unfair" the distribution method supposedly is.  Instead of demanding shit from someone who has made the effort and done all the work, why don't you stop being lazy and make your own coin with your preferred distribution method?  Self-entitled ingrates.  No one is forcing you to be here, so it stands to reason that all you're capable of is whining and have no discernible talents that would allow you to come up with anything better.

TOP...now this should end the senseless discussion!

I fully agree with you.

Ive been away for a few weeks, I come back and its still page after page of people whining about the distribution.  This thread should be about the technical aspects of the project, adoption and its future not a circle jerk by a bunch of whiners.

https://cryptox.pl

This exchange is only for Byteballs not for Blackbytes.

There is 2.1111 BlackB for 1 Byte, but it will trade in general 1 for 3 see 1 for 4

any plans of listing on new exchanges?

people are filling up requests for polo but looks like it will take a long time...
Thats not really up for this project to decide, its in the exchanges decision to include it, and what support to provide for their users, or not.

It is however very easy to trade on cryptox.pl or the btc-byteball exchange bot. Do you really need more exchanges?

I do not doubt the integrity of the cryptox administrator,
But historically so much exchange has closed and the crytos have flown away.
Always prefer to store BB on your wallet.

I didnt advocate storing ones cryptocoins in other peoples computerd. Thats dumb.

Just go to cryptox.pl make an account transfer btc into that account, buy bytes, transfer them out to your own wallet. Done how hars can that be.

You'll get 2.1111 blackbytes for every byte in your wallet at the time of the snapshot. But you must link your byte address in the transition bot.

What I meant was do you get anything for holding Blackbytes in your wallet at the time of distro?

Thanks,

Nope, only red bytes. Green bytes do affect integrity of the code, but they're not as immune to interference as yellow bytes.

It’s my belief that ease of use is the key to adoption of cryptocurrencies by regular users, and we continue to improve it in Byteball.  We already have quite a few services that work in easy to use and lightweight chat interface but, up until now, the chat window itself was not always easy to reach.  Now, chat got its own tab.

Byteball is the only crypto platform so far that has payment and communications functions intertwined, the two functions act together to strengthen each other and create more value than each function taken alone.

Upgrade to the new release 1.1.0 https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases.
Major changes:
* Chat is now reachable through its own tab
* Added ability to select units for blackbytes, such as GBB for gigablackbytes
* When a new version is released, you'll be automatically notified
* When the hub changes its witness list, it will automatically suggest making similar change
* Better alignment, more polished UI (let me know if you notice any imperfections)
* A number of small bugs fixed

Simplicity is beauty
