To me it is completely unfair to give BTC whales the automatic whale share in BB or any other new CC. It is worse even than a fairly conducted (as much as possible on here) ICO because the richest have to at least spend or risk their BTC to gain the new tokens. If they wish to take the whale share in an ICO they need to pay for it. Not with BB.

My apologies if this has been already discussed, but what stops someone from sending the BTC proof from an exchange wallet? With a very small balance on an exchange, someone could potentially pretend they represent 1000s of Bitcoins.

I believe this distribution would be a lot more fair if it required the signature method, rather than allowing the tx method of proving address ownership.
