There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Is Cryptox being extremely slow for anyone else today? Under DDoS?

It would be so nice to get on another exchange.  First for liquidity, some people will not touch tiny, obscure exchanges and secondly price checker apps dont include obscure exchanges either so its not possible to set up any alerts on ByteBalls price.

Is there anything stopping BB from getting on Bittrex?  I believe their requirements are very easy to meet.

I think only 20% max of premine can be held by the dev to get listed.

Tonych may be able to make them one of the multisig holders that control the rest ..so they perhaps would list it then

This needs to be done then.  Bigger exchanges likely have similar requirements.  If byteball is just listed on one small, obscure exchange for another year or however long it takes to distribute the rest potential growth will really be obstructed.

Tonych any plans to address this limitation?

So far, no exchange has told me that they have any issues with the undistributed coins.

Have you had any communication about listing ByteBall with either Bittrex or Poloniex?

If someone is looking for a widget for their Android phone which covers byteball, search for bitcoin & crypto price widgets on play store. I know I was desperately looking for something like this. So maybe you guys also like it

I think tony supports appropriate efforts of the community passively (that is not his priority  Wink):
The current target is to establish and develop the technology and spread it as widely as possible - for now the distribution does this very well (I expect 50% growth  Smiley).
If the possibilities of the distribution model are exhausted (slowed growth ) it is possible to generate further attention at more / other exchanges.
After this maybe it’s good to enter bigger exchanges (aka Polo).
After that it’s time to leave Cryptovillage (direction real world)
..with flowing transitions..

A euphoric firework or a flash in the pan (aka Polo effect) are currently simply not helpful.
Trader are not interested to provide a technology they don’t touch the wallet, they don’t watch a white paper, they only watch to the chart..
Through the trade generate attention is in my opinion, little efficient (to establish a technology), but above all not sustainable.
If you set this option too early negative effects.

To make that clear:
I have absolutely nothing against traders (I vote for every exchange that is posted here)- obsessive traders have their place in the ecosystem.
But you have to know how to use them properly. For developing the coin they are means to an end not an end (they are only an intermediary).

The trolls can make a nice noise and arrange a firework that you can still hear / see in the real world  Grin.
But their zeal can also lead to severe and toxic side effects.

conclusion
The goal is to bring Byteball into a stable orbital orbit. This requires a multi-stage rocket with a lot of thrust.
Time is not the problem - a good idea is not made worse by patience - it behaves like wine.

I don't think that listing on big exchanges (as Polo and Bittrex) is the first on to do list. Byteball is a revolutionary technology currently surpassing Bitcoin. I expect growing use cases of Byteball. It could help people to understand the potential and advantages of a new technology and adopt it.

until February 11.

make it at least until Feb 10 to be sure. ☺

The distribution model has to be hard coded into the dna of the coin. before that no serious exchange is going to list bytebals. with 90% of coins hold by the founder there is no way to get on serious exchanges.

what if the founder is changing his mind of the distribution he is claiming now.

i see byteballs as alpha now with some changes to be made to get on beta status. cryptoland having their own regulation methods, you cant just ignore it a expect to get into the club.

What is stopping Polo from listing regardless of Tony's wishes? They'd where out their own mum if they thought they could turn a bob or two.

You should send them to a linked Byteball address. If you don't have one of these, chat with the transition bot, enter your BB address and your BTC address and it will give you the instructions to link.

If you want some byteball then buy them already. If you want to trade go to Polo and trade some high volume coins.

So after 16 rounds approximately half of BB will be distributed? Which should be about a year and a half from now.  Thanks for posting.
