Is the BB community helpful here ? If yes, i have one simple question :
Have the dev wrote somewhere why he has chosen this kind of distribution (distribution towards BTC accounts) ?
Thanks

On average, how much blackbytes does this give me if I buy 1 BTC? Also how much more BTC will I win, will the amount increase in the same way? It would be more logical for me to keep BYTES instead of keeping BTC. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.3580..
The distribution rules:
BTC to bytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 62.5 MB (0.0625 GB) BTC to blackbytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 2.1111 * 62.5 million blackbytes (money supply of blackbytes is 2.1111 times more than that of bytes) Bytes to bytes: 1 byte on any Byteball address gives you 0.1 new bytes Bytes to blackbytes: 1 byte on linked Byteball address gives you 0.21111 blackbytes
..
Thank you for the example. I tried to look at it individually but it was hard to find it. As far as I understand I need to keep btc quite alot possible until I get 2 distributions. Individual consultations (three scenarios 1 BTC, 1 GB, 1 BTC + 1GB) : https://i.imgur.com/OwsQjs9.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/oUsv3at.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/njvHOVN.pngwarningPlease check - I just did it on the fast (During my breakfast) and I assume you know that it is not yet clear how many rounds it will be...

I think you must to know: When you send transaction to other byteball address tip come back not to your main address (from where you send it transaction) but in new created (but this new address located in your wallet to and you can't see any changes from wallet overview). Some of you would said to me: in some bitcoin wallets we have the same situation (blockchain.info wallet for example). But in byteball it can be very disappointing when you main address (which you sign with your BTC address) became empty after transaction from it (and you can't use it in byte distribution)

It's for this reason that it is necessary to save completely the directory of the byteballs, not just seed. Or send transaction to main adress.

Go to device settings > request password. 2. what is the backup/restore wallet procedure?
To back up your wallet, you have to back up your data folder. Its location depends on your operating system: https://github.com/byteball/byteball#byteball-backups-and-recovery. You can also back up your seed, available in device settings > backup. For the time being, it doesn't directly serve a purpose, however in the future, an option will be available to restore from seed. To restore, just copy back the backed up folder in its location. For the record, if you are updating to a newer version, there's no need to restore.

Two ways actually . You can ask the transtion bot, it will tell you your linked BTC and BB addresses and their balances, but it won't tell you which BTC is linked to which BB. However at transition.byteball.org you can find that info by searching for a BTC or a BB address.

If that is not enough, here are more seditious words: " blackbyte", "bad distribution", "better than iota", "very similar to iota", "actually the same" . This post reminded me to ask: Was there a peer review of "private untraceable payments"* claim? --- * - taken from the title

What is distributed are bytes and blackbytes. For bytes, 10% of the total supply was distributed during the first round, that is 100 000 GB (Gigabyte). The second round distribution will give 1% (10 000 GB) to bytes' holders and 62.5 MB for each linked BTC. At the time of writing, 79579.34769944 BTC are linked, that is 4 973+ GB, in total that would be 14 973+ GB, which is 1.4973 % of the total supply (for the next distribution).
