Christian did you decide to go to a pool now? Ive got my hash rate at over 500Mhash/s now and can probably get to over 1Gh/s if I can be botherd. Still solo mining right now

doing pool to find problems in the stratum code... And to evaluate profitability

That's like 4.5$ before electricity per day. Surely there are more profitable coins out there.

I am now getting only accepted shares from that pool, from 3 GPUs mining in a single cudaminer instance.
300 MHash from my side. Looking good.

After letting it run for a while I got 309/325 shares acccepted on max.netcodepool.org. That looks pretty reasonable for me.

well ouch!

per round I seem to be credited 0.35 MAX at my current 300 MHash/s

1236    2014-02-08 22:15:16    Credit    Unconfirmed          6197    0.28261426

seems like this is lucrative. Hopefully payouts and everything else works as expected.

You are still solomining even with only 1Ghs ? Nethash is 40Ths, dude. Even if you manage to find a block, it probably ends up orphan. Believe me. If you don't have more than 1/1000 of total nethash, solo mining is like playing lotto.

I have 7Ghs in total but I switched to poolmining yesterday already. So your payout is more secure.

Depends on your card, really. High end cards are better for scrypt, so I'd imagine middlecoin/hashco.ws and similar solutions would be the most lucrative. Or Vertcoin as I heard, but haven't looked into it. For mid range cards, scrypt-jane is the winner, however I haven't checked that scene for a few days and YAC is pretty much dead.

Personally, If this maxcoin drama ends, I'm back on microCoin (N 9 scrypt-jane) which might not be that profitable at the moment but it should pick up prety nicely.

Not your keys, not your coins!

I don't get that with latest latest version, I have about 5% rejected (on three different pool).
But I think they also fixed some issue on their sides with the new stratum

Interesting. Took this pool for a spin and it does seem to behaving a lot better than others.
I can't shake the feeling the problems on 1GH are entirely on their side though.

You have problem with smalltimeminer pool Christian ?

Microcoin was?
Right now im going to sit solo mining maxcoin till next friday I think. The difficulty and hashrates are huge. But people are going to get sick of it and move away from it eventually

it was picking a bit yesterday...

It did, but the devs decided to stay low until block 160000 (it's currently at around 90k), which is the point the reward per block starts decreasing (from 1:1) so after that they will promote the shit out of the coin, which is a few weeks away.
