Yes, I know there are *some* short electric cables. There are none anywhere near Iceland-Sweden in length. Newfoundland to Cape Breton will be world's longest when completed in 2017, and it is still no where near Iceland to mainland in length.

NorNed is 360 miles long. That isn't short by any measurement.

Yes, yes it is. And through shallow water.
Iceland to Norway is 1500 km and through much deeper, colder and iceberg infested water.

Well one good thing about the price collapse.....KnC might actually be feeling pain for a change. Now they know how we felt with such tight margins and no hope of return.

In other words they could have invested the money they made into something else instead of throwing it back in. Greedy bastards.
At least they own some real estate.

Things would have to get a lot worse for them to power off all the neptunes that were meant to be shipped to the rightful owners.

A more interesting question is how the volatility and pressure on bitcoin prices affects KNC's ability to raise capital for new investment. My uninformed personal guess is that it hurts it badly.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some sell offs...ebs and flows, it's how everything goes. Meanwhile in the batcave, supposedly they are not processing requests for changes from bonus Neptune to Titan if you ask now, they say that they may make this option available once they start processing bonuses, but they could not make a change to my existing order at this time, nor give me any indication of when they would be processing bonus miners. The fact that they offered us 2 for 1 on Neptune orders with the option of swapping to a Titan should be actionable up until time of shipment in my book, because the only reason they offered that was so we didn't cancel our orders in favor of cheaper miners available on the market that were actually shipping.

Correct. Iceland is one big Volcano, whole place. Rockbottom is not so stable around it.

The pyramid scheme for KNC is harder to trick people now. Retail customers got had. Institutional investors and Wall Street on Neptune and early titans know how to count the numbers better than regular people.

Institutional investors and Wall Street on Neptune and early titans know how to count the numbers better than regular people. There were no retailers and no pyramids, we bought directly from the manufacturer. Pre-order customers got "had". We got "had" as much by our own greed and the falling bitcoin value as we did the false promises and over-priced ASICs of Sam Cole. These venture capitalists will also be "had". It will be the same story with only a handful of venture capitalists involved instead of thousands of "regular people". They're just late to the party - we were in on the ground floor.

Sorry, I don't accept that we got had by our own greed. KNC did not deliver the product we ordered when promised. End of story.

Given that KNC wasn't able to force anyone to purchase a device, if not for greed, then why at US10k per device (for a scrypt device!!), did we set the story in motion? What were we thinking? On reflection, I believe I was had in part by my own greed.

Given that KNC wasn't able to force anyone to purchase a device, if not for greed, then why at US10k per device (for a scrypt device!!), did we set the story in motion? What were we thinking? KnC promised a device which, according to their original sales specifications would have been a reasonable purchase choice. Coupled with their dishonest use of expressing the due shipping date as Q2/Q3, implying if it was going to be Q3 then, surely, it would be early Q3 because they suggested the possibility for it to even be ready in Q2. Then, when it became apparent they were not going to deliver a completed device even by the end of Q3, they chose to bully their customers into receiving their unfinished devices, threatening them with potential liability for more costs and intentionally ignored the fact that their customers, due to KnC's failure to deliver what they had promised, were entitled to cancel their order and receive a full refund. Their behaviour is shameful but I'm sure Sam and Co. sleep soundly at night knowing their riches will keep them warm while they are under the icy stare of the customers they left out in the cold. P.S. I bought three Innosilicon A2 90's at the start of May, for 10k a piece, they ROI'd in two months so, no, don't be so hard on yourself for spending same on a device which was going to be more than three times as powerful.

When they will shipped batch 2 Titan???. Is over one month until batch 1
they won't say on the knc forums they reply promptly and killed a thread up since the paycoin pow saying it was a 'competitor' and also pipe in about kurt the head mod of the forum site who left KNC in DEC 2013...... but WILL NOT GIVE ANY INFO on when/if ever the 2nd batch Titan's will ship (to be fair the guys operating on the forum probably don't have a fricking clue either ......in that their jobs in customer service/consumer sales/shipping and whatever are probably gone within a couple months or so in the data hall arctic cloud commercial switch from consumer products) and if possible they are even worse on Neptune owners (they really hate you guys imho) on when the free bonus neptune (or titan if you chose such) will ship...it is like they just leave you twisting in the wind for fun Again IMHO ..you will never see a physical Neptune shipped from the free Neptune offer...they will again imho offer a lame 6 month hosting of 3TH on their arctic cloud mining operation with a take it or leave it ...take our bonus in this manner or move along...at this rate at best end of March at that point you will be making dust BTC by that point in time I really hope they are losing their ass on 'over expansion' with cex.io suspending cloud services and cointerra being sued by their provider ....a guy can only hope they screwed the pooch due to greed as well.....(a lame hope but wtf got to wish for something)
