It depends. Maybe in your place there are lot of places but not in mine. It is hard to see a stall with a sign that accepts bitcoin. It is always changing it to hard cash first before you can even spend it. Now, I have just been doing online buying instead of going to the mall.

True, it depends on the place where you are residing you need find places that has many stores which is surely accepting bitcoin and not all places/country has the same . just like here in my country same with danherbias, we still always need to exchange our bitcoin into cash in order to make a direct transactions . even online shop based here in my country is not actually accepting bitcoin as payment processor .

The transaction of bitcoin is fast but the confirmation is around 10 minutes until one hour. But about fees i am agree that transactions fees of bitcoin is cheap it can become a reason to prefer anyone to use bitcoin

although it takes a few couple of minutes before the transaction can be completely processed and confirmed but at least you don't have to worry about because it is surely coming to you and in terms of transaction fee there's no problem with that but some services transaction fees are increasing if you're going to transaction a large amount .

All of you have forgotten the main point which makes people enjoy Bitcoin more than fiat: the profit. Bitcoin is created for the deflation so that its prices keep increasing and increasing. I think the reason is not like that, because fiat far more uses than bitcoin mate #imo. for bitcoin is currently only suitable for investment, because bitcoin is not suitable yet for the method of payment. maybe that's the reason people prefer bitcoin because it is more profitable

I think people prefer using bitcoin than fiat because it's easy to use, have low fee for each transaction and you can use it for online transaction.

Yup you are right! Why would anyone think that bitcoin is only made for porn purposes only? Or illegal ways, just because it is anonymous doesn't mean that it would only be use in a negative ways the purpose of bitcoin in my opinion would be changing peoples lives and getting many people to innovate and think out of the box by using bitcoin because all negative usage of bitcoin is only 30% or 40% it doesn't reach half the mark of people using it in a possitive way.

to me  i think most of the people are using bitcoin for investment, because in most of the area bitcoin is not using as currency as bitcoin facilities as currency are not present everywhere therefore they are using it as investment.

to me i think they are giving preference to bitcoin over fiat because bitcoin is a good way of earning money, if you have some good amount of bitcoin and if you simply hold these bitcoin and not going to sell it then its price can be double because the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing.

Government and condition of global economy is not correlate with bitcoin. So if government do wrong decision, bitcoin will not get any effect. Thats why bitcoin is a safe havens such as gold.

why bitcoin is more secure in gambling? How security issue works in any gambling ? Gambling is a pure luck. Nothing can secure any luck or gambling thing. BUt yes BTC as faster than fiat if you consider to withdraw in cash form. But fiat money transfer is also fast. If you want to transact  only from one account to another, even fiat is somehow fast but in case of withdraw you have to depend on some centralized authority.

The same thing with me either there are only few places here in my country where I can use bitcoins and there is no physical store that accepts it.

Good thing that the exchange here is capable for accepting bitcoins by using their service that we are able to buy prepaid load cards.

And as well as paying our monthly dues.

Here in my country also i cannot use bitcoin on any physical store , only thing i can do is convert to fiat currency and use it or i can only recharge my mobile phone, data card and some online services because that is carried on by individual person who wants btc

actually the number of bitcoin users will be less in your area, i think you need to introduce bitcoin to your friends, so that the uses of bitcoin increase and then you can expect shopping in local shops.

I did already introducing bitcoin here in my community and guess what? My old friend who is always my companion with my crazy deeds way back then is already using it.

And the fact that he is already in bitcoins for almost 4 years, the thing is that he didn't introduce it to me and he is even an early comer than me.

I learned from him that those people who are preferring to use bitcoins are just quiet and doesn't want to expose themselves.

That is a smart thing to do, while it may be better for the bitcoin economy , for us to try to get more adopters there are circumstances in which is better to remain hidden and to not bring a lot of attention to ourselves, especially if bitcoin reaches very high prices.

I guess it's no secret to us that bitcoin is widely used in gambling industry and in fact the bitcoin gambling sites are very profitable due to the big market they are serving. Gambling is one of the main attraction on why people are adopting with bitcoin to avoid legal liabilities as we have all the freedom to gamble anonymously.
