i do not think we are even near to the mainstream because today when i saw the newspaper there is again a news of how some hacker locked everyone in a hotel and asked two bitcoins as a ransom, so still it growing the negative side as we are trying to increase the positive side. its hard to compete the negative side because no matter how much we develop the economy common people will first notice the negative side after that they will see the positive side

Well, we thought as connected. nothing is more expected than to see higher prices than before. bitcoin prices were very high expectations of every user into bitcoin. in addition, has a lot of people who have been preparing for the situation. may we all expect the same state in 2017

I think some projects, such as megaupload 2.0, may be delayed and there may be no guarantee that they will be delivered this year. I also agree with your comments. I think the value of Bitcoin currency in 2017 will further development, its value will be confirmed stronger and I believe in its value. The popularity of Bitcoin will be wider and I hope that many countries will have to accept it.

some people have a pessimist thought about how bitcoin could dropped down to 50% or so in this new year, but as usual i see a lot of people full of optimistic that invest in bitcoin now or then it would always give you profit as the price of bitcoin are increased gradually. i'm indeed want to be one of them who keep having optimism, i just wouldn't go allin to invest .

I am also in the believe that the price of bitcoin will increase in this year and after that and I will say that it is not my thoght or of any other person but it is obvious from the excess adoption of bitcoin by many people all over the world and its allowance in different businesses. The developers are its supporters are stil very active for its success and with their struggle it will happen t increase in value.

as i see the price is up and down more often that i can imagine, i think in 2017 its the best time for bitcoin and i see that there is always new people that come into bitcoin industry. i think that in next month we can see the price up and down like this but i hope the down it is not deep and the price will always gets up again. beside that, i hope that is not only bitcoin that have a higher price but the altcoin will follow bitcoin and get the new price too.

You're very optimistic man. Bitcoin is rallying yet again and people are set to sell their stocks. About the Price of Bitcoin hitting 2000 USD, Don't you a Price like that isn't realistic? Although Everyday a lot of Bitcoin Start-Ups are launched and operational But what really determines the success of bitcoin over Fiat and other currencies is who well Bitcoin is accepted and also The Userbase. Simple Maths: More Users= More success. One thing is certain, Bitcoin will do better this year than It did in 2016.

Yeah. Many people would want Bitcoin's price to go down, in order to buy cheap coins and profit once the price recovers. However, there are others which are long term investors of Bitcoin and would want its price to keep rising during the year reaching levels above $1500.

In the end, I guess that it is up to people to decide if they want Bitcoin's price to keep rising by promoting it, and spreading the word about it in the mainstream world or not. The more individuals, businesses, and companies join Bitcoin, the more the value of Bitcoin will be. Also, Bitcoin can rise even further if scalable solutions like SegWit becomes active. When that happens, Bitcoin would gather its attention towards those users who are new to the cryptocurrency. Just my opinion.

I think Bitcoin would be more well known this year, because as I've seen lately that some of my friends have started to know about Bitcoin. And this is indeed a good time for Bitcoin, with the rise to $1000 will be a good image for Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is at a turning point now. The block size conflict is beginning to harm the ecosystem, because there are already days when the blocks are totally full and low-fee transactions don't come through.

Do you know Saxo Bank ? Last month they said about Bitcoin, the price could in 2017 jump as high as +2000$. Specially if countries like Russia and China start to accept bitcoin as a partial alternative to the USD. We are in the phase of awareness. It's a bull market. My prediction: in 2017, bitcoin will reach historic highs. The value of a bitcoin will exceed that of an ounce of gold.

Situation completely changed with PBOC intervention. Chinese margin trading - which was the main cause of bitcoin volatile pumps and dumps is curbed now.
I expect that instead of sharp and fast upward jump there will be small continuous growth of price - because of that I doubt we will see $2000 soon. Probably not in 2017.

The price or value of bitcoin did reach 1000$ and has stabilized but I am expecting more of price inflation next month, March 2017. I would say that possibly by march the price of bitcoin will climb up to One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) each. This may sound crazy but in just few weeks from 800 $ it has recovered and returned to 1000$. This movement just means that a 1200$ value for bitcoin by march is possible.

2017 has just started and so far, we're back ok 1k$ price. If we're judging by the last quarter of 2016 we may expect a huge rise in the price and later on a slight drop but, imo, we may see a rise up to 1500$ per coin this summer/late summer. Also, as there are more and more businesses are accepting bitcoin we may see a faster spreading and the biggest contributor to that could be Microsoft, hopsing that they implement bitcoin into xbox store and just promote it a little and bam, sudden major influence on other potential users.

Bitcoin price really moving up this past few days, I am looking forward that it will continue until it reaches and more the all time high, maybe it will drop but only a little. The community is getting bigger because of the people working on the internet adopting and supporting BTC.
