What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think? 

My prediction of bitcoin in 2017 according to some articles that stated bitcoin will has significant increases in this year, I agree that bitcoin could leap to $2000 in this year. What we have know is more countries regulated about bitcoin used and exchanges, some people are worries but in the end they will realize it's all right. Even though the price has been fluctuate and drop back to $900, bitcoin already recover to $1000, no doubt of how valuable it is.

Well, seeing the current volatility in the price of bitcoin, it seems a bit difficult to wait for a stable range of prices this year. Unfortunately some speculators have just realized that the price of bitcoin is very easy to manipulate and perhaps we could see this year an undesirable tendency to see with more frequency these tremendous oscillations in the bitcoin price: a perfect opportunity to make money through pump and dump.

bitcoin almost reach $1200 but unfortunately the price was suddenly dropped with very fast and back to $1000 below but my thought in 2017 from the price side still have potential to reach above to $1200 again but i don't know the exact time it will happening and from mass adoption side i think the situations will not so different such as the previous year

Do you think mass adoption has been starting in China already? I cannot see people in the US adopting bitcoin in large numbers anytime soon, but the US does not control their currency as tightly as China does.

The U.S bank is not strict like the Chinese bank. The minimum attention by the U.S bank for bitcoin. but their law was protecting his area. it seems like crypto is illegal in there.

Although Bitcoin was, awesome in the last year,  I have to say that Bitcoin will be affected a lot in the negative ways due to some laws which are going to be promulgated by the Chinese Government . They seem not to like the Bitcoin because the most of the Chinese investors have bought many Bitcoin,  which influences the Yuan currency a lot.

Yes it already secured it's position in the year 2017, many people are now days looking some thing new in their daily life so my though is government should elaborate bitcoin technology through out the world wide and make announcement that bitcoin can use able like gold. Bitcoin is completely digital currency and is limited we cannot able to mine more than that like gold.

Yes it is true that bitcoin is becoming more secure and stable. Maybe the government may consider to push not just the bitcoin technology but the bitcoin itself. Still, there are many people who do not know bitcoin, what it is and what it can do. I can see a more secure money/payment transactions once the bitcoin is introduced world wide.

yes we ban in 1000 USD level. people are not interested to sell bitcoin even in panic like situation.  people like to hold bitcoin for the price increase. i do not think that chines or any other countries can become issue for bitcoin. bitcoin is now adopted in all over the world and still accepting it. therefore it is becoming difficult even for a group of people do manipulate the price of bitcoin or effect bitcoin through any other way.

Someone who holds huge enough bitcoins can affect and manipulate the bitcoin price. You said that China can't hve any effect on us because bitcoin users are scattered all around the world? Then how come when some of them sold some of their coins, the price went to back 760$? We affect each other. When I sell my coins, the price would decrease. When I buy some, the price would increase.

Regardless of how many people are there, the whole bitcoin thing can be manipulated by any of us. Maybe some wouldn't cause a significant effect, but all the coins surely will.

2017 will be a great year for bitcoin, with the price making a new fondation at $1000 mark, more people will begin using bitcoin in their transcation. However this increase in popularity will bring another trouble for example the fee. There's seems to be more increase unconfirmed transcations lately and the recommended fee becoming more ridiculous  

Yeah you are right that 2017 is the year of progress for bitcoin and it will increase its customer to some extend in 2017. As more and more users are attracted towards it, I hope bitcoin will became the universal currency in 2017 itself. The success of bitcoin is solely depend on its userbase, I guess bitcoin has started this year very well by building its userbase.

Once people get used to $1,000 / btc, the next run to $2,000 is just a formality.

$2k value for now or this year is impossible to happen  to hit $2,000 the movement of the price is still relaying and the past movement like last year.. so i think $2,000 this price could be happen in 2019 not this year or next year..

i think it is already over 1000 USD i think it will easily cross 2000 USD level in the end of 2017 may be more expected to reach to 2500 also but 2000 is look like conform to cross in 2017. therefore i am not going to sell my bitcoin and i will wait tell that time.
