Basically, Yes. DCA with throwaway money, Buy the dips and HODL.

Another thing I forgot to mention.

You need to have a target too. You need to know when to say: "enough is enough" (at some point you'll want to spend them. I am not really going to carry my wealth to my grave)
I suck in TA so this is the best method I found for me too. I know LFC_Bitcoin does the same and I am sure a lot of us do the same?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Anyhew.... Does anyone know what Gavin is doing nowadays?

Wouldn't mind some sanity now.

He was broken by a fat Australian. You will find no sanity in his house.

I've heard he spends his days talking to his model train set and making Close Encounters style mountains out of mashed potato.

Hmmm..... I'm fat. I like mashed potatoes.
Now it's just a matter of figuring out where he lives and invite him back to Bitcoin.

Yeah.. right...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I thought that we got over that BIG blocker nonsense?    No sanity is going to come from any of those nutjobs who still cannot believe that bitcoin cannot be easily changed and have BIG blocks in their heads including their willingness to just stir up bullshit.

Switzerland: purchasing Bitcoins at a train ticket machine - It works just fine

World's First Licensed Crypto Bank Seen As Game-Changer For Switzerland

They weren't trolling when they were saying that BTC is a Swiss Bank account in your pocket.

BTC is unofficially being backed by the masters of money, Switzerland.

Today I was inspired and I came up with the brilliant idea of suggesting to add the price of Bitcoin in the forum.
I have published the suggestion in Meta, it seems to me that the idea will not succeed. Cheesy

Let me explain it like this:

When I was really panicking in 2014,

I was trading on btc-e and I had like 2 btc on the exchange and I was playing the trading game. (buy high, sell low)

For example:

When it was Around $800. I sold some, but guess what? It went up instead of going down! Wtf, What to do now? Of course I bought back as soon as it went down to $825 from 850. Then it went down even further to $600.

That's how I used to panic. Stupid old days.

Then for a year or 2, I never touched BTC. Then started stacking in late 2016 with the new rules. I am still following those rules. So far so good.

It will rise and fall in his religion The best thing to do without hurry is to wait days, months and so on. other hand It should be reconnoiter when it is difficult to control yourself when it is moving to a specific target.

The money sent to CB this morning arrived. SEPA transfer is fast! 0.077 BTC + 0.03 BTC bought earlier this month, say good bye to the exchange and hello to my Ledger!

Edit. Bitcoins showed immediately and I can't see any fee. I can recall that they charged 0.001 and after Segwit 0.0005 BTC. And now I see no fee at all. Strange but I don't complain Smiley

Wow.... I really like the futuristic design of those! A lot prettier than the hexagonal shape of the old one. Of course my usual fears of pirates and rogue waves would remain. But other than that it looks really peaceful and serene. Glad to see you're still going strong with the whole concept.

Bitcoin Price Threatens $10K as 50% of CME Futures Almost Expire

The upcoming CME futures expiration set for Friday is expected to have a significant effect on the next bitcoin price action as the biggest cryptocurrency threatens to plunge below the $10,000 mark.

According to a Tuesday post by the Skew Twitter account, the CME futures deadline will see almost 50% of open interest expire. According to past evidence, futures expiration sparks Bitcoin volatility. However, different events in Bitcoin’s history have behaved differently. Skew believes that the current investor appetites are more bearish.

https://www.coinspeaker.com/bitcoin-price-10k-cme-futures/

~50% of total open interest set to expire this week at CME
Some of those positions will be rolled but overall institutional investors have been looking elsewhere in August!

Can someone ELI5 this shit for me? I'm not sure how a futures market that doesn't settle in actual coins is effecting the market. Are true investors this retarded that they are manipulated by an artificial vapor market? Eventually these scumbags have to use real coins, as in not stolen from exchanges by TPTB, to manipulate and create self fulfilling prophecies.
