OT:

I love how most of the major news outlet websites subtly enlarged both their font sizes as well as the white space around their article headlines and photos (so that they can post less articles per day and still fill up the screen).

As if some of us viewing on the PC wouldn't notice (news flash: I did). I guess phone-only viewers wouldn't really notice.

Just more proof that the main stream media industry is slowly dying and losing money along with everything else.

Pretty soon most of those news articles won't even be written by a real human anymore.

Here's who will get the job.

What to do when you're the banking sector of a Communist country quickly running out of liquidity during a global credit crisis?

Easy, just confiscate it directly from your citizens:

Does talkimg.com usually work with Tor?

Under Maintenance right now, and I always get a "Request denied (401)".

Happy Mothers Day everyone.
So I left a card for all the mothers that frequent this place (both of them) at CVS.
Just go to the card aisle and read it, then put it back.
Hallmark makes millions anyway, and besides, the card goes in the trash next week.

GO BITCOIN

I bet Jim Cramer found out about ChartBuddy and said he loves his posts.  Tongue

You should have got a pack of these instead. They're suitable for any occasion (and reusable). No need to throw them in the trash. You can say they're "environmentally friendly".

Reminds me of staying at my folks place many years ago in UK.
They always had that Tesco Value toilet paper.  (I loved my dear old late Dad but jeeeezus, he was a cheap bastard, bless him)
I swear every time I went for a dump I'd always end up using the whole frikkin roll.

I literally bought one of these Tesco value joke cards on eBay years ago for my ex wife, it was a Happy Birthday one. (I had a proper card to give later)

Maybe that's why we got divorced.  Cheesy

Man, Guardians of The Galaxy 3 was somewhat disappointing.

It has some good bits, especially the Rocket stuff, but much of the movie became a real clusterfuck with too many characters and too many redemption arcs thrown in.
A lot of the characters seemed really mean to each other at times also, for no reason other than to try to get a laugh which doesn't work after you have seen character growth already in previous movies.
Why is Sylvester Stallone in this? He has nothing to do at all. Madness.

What a shame.

The first one was excellent and a refreshing surprise. The second one wasn't too bad I thought, pretty decent with an excellent Kurt Russel.

This one for me is a 5 or 6/10 at best.

Not much point seeing any more Marvel movies from now on I reckon. These were some of my favourite characters.
A bit worrying that James Gunn is the exact guy to have control over all DC movies now.

Indeed, it was a good one.
Yes, too long, too many things introduced late on.
Maybe the Rocket stuff should have played out as a long 10 minute intro before the credits instead of interjected throughout at random times.
It would have paid off better I think.
And do away with the reverse earth and children especially.

Bizarre choices.

yeah marvel fell into the Disney black hole like star wars did.

too bad.

A surprise decent sequel was the new shazam.

The first was a C- or C , but the sequel was a good B or B+

It is rare that a sequel is better but sometimes they are better.
