Only millionaires and billionaires can save the bitcoin price now.
Dont expect the average Joe for it. They all bailed out in the first 5% drop months ago.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Well, our asses are real sore right now at Casa Lawblaw.
Just got our tax work finished, and we owe mid six figures for FY17.
I hear ya man. Same boat here. I drew down enough for a lambo in Dec. Unfortunately, a the time I didn't draw down enough for the taxes. Now I'm having to sell 3x the stash that I would have at the time. Grr. Poor planning. Or faith in a mistaken indicator. I was watching days-to-double. Either it is a bad indicator, or I don't know how to use it. Grr. Taxation is theft, goddamnit.
Agree. Unfortunately, the thieves have guns. More than I do. And radios - radio waves travel faster than cars or even bullets. Grr. Again.

Guys, your reasons for the continuing downtrend are all wrong.
It's pretty simple.
1. Whale(s) spend a full year pumping Bitcoin and altcoins to the moon, using massive leverage.
2. Whale(s) gain control of the float and thin it out, pushing prices to the moon.
3. Whale(s) massively short sell/dump in one go. Ending bull run. Whale mega money then sits on sidelines.
4. Whale(s) use lotza coins to squeeze remaining float up and down to make money trading. Mostly down.
5. Average Joes finally lose interest. Sell at bottom.
... and then... eventually... (*we are not there yet*)...
6. Whale(s) use sidelined mega money to scoop up cheap coins at the bottom. Downtrend over. Next bull run starts.
There are no "reasons". There are no plausible "FUD". Its just the way it goes.
Truth! The elites share/ part of the crypto market will be more concentrated than the current flawed fiat system.

Haha! quote from article: "Japan started seeking its own rare-earth metals after China held back shipments in 2010 during a dispute over islands both countries claim". Delicious.

Welcome to the club! +5 WOsMerits Love that Medusa artwork as well...thanks. ---------------------------------------- Bitcoin That was pleasant to watch. Bitcoin has surged over $1000 to breakout over $8k on a nice hourly candle. Currently testing the support/resistance area between $7.6k and $7.8k. Two random lines converge. The huge number of shorts proved to be irresistible to some whale(s). Now it's downtrend business as usual.
Good morning $btc We stood on a hill and looked downwards.. #dyor #btfd #cryptouplift

Yes I would suspect the MAOI interacted with something to cause to SS. I might not have followed the preparation diet as strictly as I should have, especially considering the giant dose I was given which measured about 1 Liter when I now see that most people drink about a small teacup's worth. In addition, I have a genetic SNP called the "warrior gene" which already impairs my MAOA function.
By the way, in the indigenous culture, ayahuasca is not actually MAOI + DMT. It is strictly the Caapi plant (the MAOI) which has the name Ayahuasca. Other additives, such as a DMT source, or other things, may or may not be added. Most of the time they were not and it was just the Caapi. Also, in most healing ceremonies it was actually just the shaman who drank in order to channel energies to the patient and the patient did not even drink. I learned all of this after the fact. So apparently all us tourists are being taken for a ride.
I did not get ill with my current condition until 2 years after this event, so I'm not sure how I would bring up a correlation with my doctor, unless I want to hear that I'm suffering from a somatized PTSD disorder. Actually I'd be curious to do a SPECT scan of my brain and see if anything died.
I was aware that it was usually just the shaman drinking, but I had no idea that it was originally just about the MAOI. I thought that the caapi on its own didn't even have any real effects, at least nothing comparable to any psychedelic. But whatever makes money I guess. It does seem to be hardwired to supply what people demand. If I wasn't so sure $100k was right around the corner I would probably be a bit irritated by this.
Which corner?

I'll do my best to be bearish for you. <snip>
As a permabull, I'll make an even more bearish statement. In Bitcoin's history, there has never been a downtrend reversal and start of a new bull run, without first pursuing a major stop loss hunt and major long liquidation. Never. So take that for what it's worth. Not sure there would be any major long liquidation anymore to be honest. Anyone not selling at $6K will probably not sell at $2K or below. I won't.

I won't.
Only the whales will sell below $6k. The panicked newbies are already out for a long time. They can dump as much as they want. I will be ready to buy when it touches $4k.

I have a hard time believing that. What about Dec - like the 7th or so? Went from ~$13000 to ~$20000. On lower volume?

for those who want a quick review of pompeo hearing ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3309971.0) i did it myself... it's trashy, but very close to what I felt... anyway, I think the short squeeze was the cia... anything to contradict? just pushing some OPM for fun . sad and dangerous for those who masterfully playing the short side... state actors should be banned from ALL markets, and with instant death penalty for any violation... because I understand that to make money to play with OPM and specially unlimited tax basis is fun, but for the beauty of the game, it's disgrace... why isn't state intervention tolerated in nfl but in all trading things, they are alwasy fucking it for at least one side (and that's generally the best outcome). opinions?
