Whoops! $BSV has experienced yet another reorg, this time 6 (six!) consecutive blocks were orphaned (#578640–578645), this chain included a 128 MB block #578644 🤦‍♂️ The network was basically stuck for 1.5 hours, and this shows that even 6 confirmations are not enough 🤷‍♂️
Satoshi had very bad vision, poor guy.

Canadians can pay property taxes in Bitcoin now. Good things happens with good peoples.

https://youtu.be/-YdQ2LOuduI

https://blockonomi.com/canadian-city-to-accept-bitcoin-for-property-taxes/amp/
Small Canadian City To Accept Bitcoin For Property Taxes

too bad our main exchange up here is declaring bankruptcy with 200 mil "missing"  Sad
http://bit.ly/2DlALmt  (link is stupid long so i shortened it)
we have zero exchanges in Canada that are homegrown and legit registered now  Sad
QuadrigaCX? Ceo died in India, same exchange, right?

@Ibian lol don't know what makes you say that, but that's fine as well. I have very pleasant experience with Canadians so far. So I personally can't complain about that.
They elected a woman who thinks like a child. It's a dying nation.
We've never elected a woman though we did have an interim female Prime Minister in the 90's when Brian Mulroney retired.  Avril Phaedra Douglas "Kim" Campbell became prime minister until the next federal election but I think she was unable to actually take up residence at 24 Sussex Drive because Mulroney wouldn't fucking get out.  Oddly enough she took up residence at Harrington lake which is where our current Prime Minister lives because apparently 24 Sussex drive has weasels or something... oh the irony.
I can see how some might confuse Justin with a woman though but he's actually the bastard son of Fidel Casto I hear, eh?

LOL
pretty much

and yes, that exchange, CEO "died " in india, but APPARENTLY the coins have moved after the fact adding to the mystery O_o

im ignoring BTC price maybe for a bit and just stacking till next 1/2ing, the amount of people year by year jumping in to get fame from this all is getting crazy
i just wish someone would move Satoshi's coins so the REAL drama could begin Cheesy
We will never find out who Satoshi is and his coins will never move. Count on it. Bitcoin is to be a force of nature, not just another way of moving numbers around. A mortal creator would make it lose potency. Money is in the end something people believe in, much like a religion.

My phone's been complete ass when it comes to Bitcointalk for the last two days. Did I miss anything important?
no, nothing exceptional. Elwar's been written up in the MSM but no new developments

Yeah, where the guy? He posted a single message and went AWOL again.

First him, then Elwar, now JJG... something fishy is cooking.

Now seriously, I guess if Elwar hasn't been detained yet (we should have heard?) he should have probably already reached somewhere safe. I will celebrate when I get some real confirmation though.

Interesting read here I thought for those wanting to go deeper down rabbit holes. Its a from a few years ago but still well written and relevant today imho.

Great article but deeply suspicious.  If you are a whale and know you are going to tank the market, you open your short position before tanking the market.

You don’t get a flash of inspiration to short half way through the process.

You think the altcoin you’re holding will beat Bitcoin’s return?

Good luck.

What that graft fails to mention is if you bought $100 worth of IOTA during crowdsale in 2014 you'd now have $210k. It was a better buy than ETH.
