Thanks to all the "Voltaires" who asked me to continue posting even though they disagree with my views.

I would like to reply to everybody who posted comments on my posts, positive or negative; but there have been too many of them, and besides it would be irritating for many of you, boring for many others.  Again, that is not why I am reading and posting to this forum.

Let me just emphasize that I distinguish "promoting the bitcoin project" from "convincing people to invest in bitcoin".

I am afraid that this note is too long already. Thanks for your attention. I sincerely wish you all the best.

U welcome. K thanks bye

here is a little blast from the past for anyone who wants us to have more "patience"

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=172991.0

That's stunning. monkey-fucking asshats. Had a billion dollar baby and didn't bother to change the diapers.

It's also why I have no problem believing this is incompetence.

You are all going to be kicking yourselves later for not loading up on GoxCoins.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1ye90u/mtgox_establishes_withdrawal_queue/

Queue btc withdrawals, just like fiat. Might be fake. But LOL if this turns out to be Gox's solution.
According to the reddit comments, this isn't legit.

Yea, but this kind of solution makes perfect sense considering Gox's history.

Gox is now offically offtopic your posts will be removed ~ thanks! ;-) lolzzz

they broke their home page while trying to add the update?

i don't think trading on the site stopped, even when people said it was down?  Something huge is going to happen with Gox...it is like a ticking time bomb that is going to explode.   I saw someone in another thread talking about a buy out.  That would be the best case scenario if a bigger company came in and bought out Gox, and brought it back from the dead...

Pokerstars could buy it...lol...they have enough money, and have a good customer service history and online record...

From where I am sitting things can go either 2 ways here.

Mt Gox survives which means the market won't go any lower than it currently is.

Mt Gox dies and there will be one more big dip.

So the last question remaining is how low will the market go if gox dies?

I am starting to think that whether gox lives or gox dies is going to be irrelevant a year from now when at the very least people are gonna wish they had bought in at $625.

+1

Just as much as people wish they bought at $25 exactly 1 year ago...

Just on the previous update the price went up pretty fucking hard instantly. When Gox announces to continue withdrawals in the next 24 hours, shit gonna hit the fan hard.
Gox>$650+ within hours. Stamp starts to follow, so do the others.

From there building it up to the old $900 levels.

This is what the majority of people probably believe. So, being true to form, Bitcoin will do the exact opposite...
