the lithiums have made impressive strides in energy density, outpacing your Trojans by a fair bit

that said, and I am quite aware of the dangers inherent in H2SO4, if I had one of those power walls it would be installed in an airtight bunker some distance from the dwelling...

when lithium decides to do the bad, it is really bad
True. For a house system weight and energy density aren't as big a problem as in a car (where you have to like move it). So L16 or T105 batteries can get you a lot of power for a reasonable price without the major fire problem of lithiums.

As for hydrogen I've never seen issues with lead, however I guy I knew did blow the bed off his battery powered truck with flooded NiCD batteries. Those last forever but really can gas hydrogen on charge. Oh well.

100ah AGM batteries are quite nice as well but a bit more pricey per AH. Any way you go, you need to figure out how much power you need per day, then build your solar panels to put that much power back in 1/2 day (factoring in cloudy days) with a battery capacity of at least 3-4 times your load for rainy days and the like. Thus if you want to run the fridge (200 watts*24=4.8kw) some lights (about 1kw a day) and a toaster (1,500 watts for an hour a day) you're at 7kw. Thus a 28kw battery pack and 14kw of solar will do it. Assuming 5 hours of sun per day (and you factored in the 2x oversize for solar) and you're talking a ~2kw array and if the batteries are 48v then a 500ah battery pack or 16 T105's.

Takes more power than you think.

I think Bitcoin can take a good bullish leap.

Very interesting dynamic on the TOTAL chart. There seems to be a generational pivot precisely at the intersection of the two most important diagonals on the entire chart dating back to the ATH.

Could BTC be coiling in preparation for something huge?

King Bitcoin : The Ultimate Safe Haven Status Update-

1. King Bitcoin is up approximately 22 percent from its Dec. 31 price when Coronavirus first began its reign of terror.

 https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/06/health/wuhan-coronavirus-timeline-fast-facts/index.html

2. Gold, the primitive safe haven of our ancestors, puked back much of its gains today with an over 3 percent drop. It has only gained a mere 3.7% since Dec. 31. Yes, there is a new sheriff in town.   Cool

3. Silver has performed terribly and Roach may never come back again. After puking and losing over 6 percent of its value today, it is down 6.75% since Dec 31.

4. Global stocks are down about 8.44% as measured by Vanguard Total World Index https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/VT/

Only one of these assets is having its supply cut in half in 73 days. Its good to be King. Cheesy

Coinbase Is Testing Clearview’s Controversial Facial Recognition Technology

Quote
Internal documents obtained by BuzzFeed revealed New York-based Clearview AI – a startup facing legal threats from Apple and Google as well as calls for greater scrutiny into its practices – had already shared or sold its technology to roughly 2,200 companies and authorities around the world.

Clearview's software trawls websites and social media platforms to scrape data and match images posted online to persons of interest. Coinbase was among the organizations that had used the software for at least one search, BuzzFeed reported Thursday.

A Coinbase spokesperson confirmed in the article the exchange had tested Clearview's software regarding its "unique needs around security and compliance," but added customer data had not been used in any of its tests.

"As a thought experiment, imagine there was a base metal as scarce as gold but with the following properties: - boring grey in colour - not a good conductor of electricity - not particularly strong, but not ductile or easily malleable either - not useful for any practical or ornamental purpose and one special, magical property: - can be transported over a communications channel If it somehow acquired any value at all for whatever reason, then anyone wanting to transfer wealth over a long distance could buy some, transmit it, and have the recipient sell it" - Nakamoto

50 WMA /350 DMA ($8400) is hodling nicely. If this line hodls, till we get out of the triangle, it is a good bull sign. No $6k. No $7k. Moon.

Not sure where you live but we can get by on 14.5kw/h per day including two fridges, security systems etc.

We run a 10kw system and it would be a rare day we get less than 15 kWh out of it, seeing as that is 1.5 hours at full load.  30 - 40 kw is more typical, peaking out around 60kw.

Girls, how much time do you spend in the forum?

I would really like to see the girls answer here.
Girls would be so kind to post in the thread:

Question: is there an SCAM accusation ongoing for the IOTA project on the forum?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Reason:

Meine Güte das ist ja ein Frontalaufprall mit Totalschaden!

That is my understanding as well. Since Trinity downloaded code (a .js file) and executed it, and the attacker routed that download request to his own files, Trinity then executed some arbitrary javascript code created by the attacker.

So IMO I don't see why this must have stayed contained within Trinity at all - running arbitrary code on users' machines usually means game over.

That said, this is the absolute worst case we're assuming here.

the timeline of the IOTA hack smells a lot like an inside job IMO maybe not on the management level but below.

Not the best extrapolation, but enlarging the 2015 breakout of the accumulation zone (from the 200 Week MA to the swing high) - to the 200WMA lows and highs of the 2019 rally - lines up nicely with current prices. Not sure how relevant this is, but it gives a rough idea of what could occur in the coming months (as opposed to a major pump or dump).

This would also suggest a much longer cycle this time around if relevant, or at least a longer consolidation period than 2016. If you think about how much further price rallied, compared to in 2015, then this would make also make proportionate sense logically speaking. The green arrow represents where in the extrapolation we are, if the consolidation takes proportionately more time in this cycle. Notably this is also at the 21 Week MA, as was the case in February 2016 when price found support prior to consolidating higher. This also suggests there may only be a small dip after the halving, instead of the "buy the hype, sell the news" type correction that most traders are anticipating (and occurred previously).
