The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the
first distributed timestamping system.

I think that if the corona virus disease continues to spread in many countries and many infected people will have an economic crisis. There are many reasons why I think so. First, the tourism industry will suffer big losses because people are restricted from traveling in countries with large epidemic regions like China and South Korea. Second, manufacturing industries such as automobiles and phones depend on raw materials in China. The evidence is that many large automakers have difficulty in manufacturing. As a result, stocks fell, gold prices fell and real estate was closed. I hope that BTC will not be affected by Corona too much and that everyone will benefit from BTC.

My TA for the day, in order to contradict my worst case scenario to around $7.4K, which I think is less likely. Not yet confirmed with a Daily close, but keeping a close eye on this one. Daily MACD Signalling Seller Exhaustion at $8,500] As can be seen by the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), bears have begun signalling exhaustion on the Daily time-frame at current prices, though not yet confirmed with a closing candle. This colorful extrapolations is based on the most recent times the MACD's histogram went below -175 while trading the bear & bull exhaustion cycles, as opposed to the bull and bear crosses with the signal line as the MACD is traditionally used for. The concern is decreasing bullish momentum of each rally (when sellers become exhausted >-175) with the lower highs on the buyer's end of the histogram, as well as other short-term bearish factors. None the less in each occurrence in the past 9 months bear exhaustion has signaled good entries for profitable trades or otherwise break-even trades at worst (such as the yellow and blue recent seller exhaustion). In the background, the 0.5 fib retracements of the $3.2K to $14K as well as $6.4K-$10.5K move line up around $8.5K at current prices. The RSI is otherwise bearish with room to move to oversold conditions, as referenced below. It's time to BTFD again. Not yet started new topic yet, waiting to see if the histogram confirms the seller exhaustion by the end of the day.

Below from Boston Children's Hospital: "Coronavirus mainly transmitted through contact with respiratory droplets from cough and sneezing. Masks are not the primary preventative measure as repiratory viruses are primarily spread through droplet contamination of hands after people blow their nose or cough into their hands."

Lol this maps looks suspicious: Italy’s number looks low to my own anecdotical experience. Might be 1 in 10 (don’t know about women anyway). What’s wrong with Netherlands btw?? I would make a relevant distinction between number ones and number twos. For number ones, washing hands before is as important as after, or even more. If you keep your junk in order, it's more about stopping bad stuff from outside entering the fun zone than spreading cooties from your johnson outwards. Number twos are a totally different ball game.

Yes and no. They are narcissistic, which you could call a form of insanity. But they are not stupid in the sense that they know what they are doing, so there is an actual conspiracy.

Been thinking about it a bit more. Bitcoin does not produce anything. There is no dependency on any supply chain being functional or not. Dumping your precious bitcoins like a company stock because of a non computer virus makes absolutely no sense. It is an irrational decision unless your purpose is to try an buy them back cheaper, and we all know how that worked out over the last 10+ years for Joe Average.
I am a buyer of Bitcoin until this knowledge gap closes and going to happily quote myself in a few years time. Today’s price of a bitcoin is ~ $8500.
