So, is the bottom in ? I guess so.. it would really crush souls if this was a fake-out and we made a new low in the next months... I guess bottom was missed by most of us at 16k. Now, RUN BTC RUN... Nope!.. who is this “us”? DCA and you never need to worry about #FOMO DCA has the real charm of bitcoin investment. Putting 100$ in bitcoin every month for three years gives: "Wow! Buying $100 of Bitcoin every month for 3 years starting 3 years ago would have turned $3,600 into $7,387 (+105%)" https://dcabtc.com/

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

When I employ a DCA.. such as giving myself a weekly allowance, I try to hit the lows within that week... and if the week comes close to ending without my spending my allowance, then I will spend at whatever the price is at the end of that week. Of course, you can set the days that the week begins and ends at any day that you wish.
From my point of view, one of the problems with set it and forget it on most exchanges is that they do not let you set your DCA at an exact time, so they end up daily batching them and potentially front running them. If they let you set an actual time then I would not be against any DCA practice with an exchange that allows for that.
I think I'll do it like you. I hadn't even thought about programming a timed order, I looked at my exchange and this doesn't seem to be an option anyway. I guess there are regulatory issues with such orders, why was this one executed before that one, stuff like that.

My theory on this: Bitcoin did a number of "10k drops in a day" last year when the whole inflation thing went bananas. Dropped from 50 to 40, then 40 to 30, then 30 to 20, all in very sharp drops. It was annoying to watch, you'd see it flounder at 40, drop to 39k, recover a bit, then plunge to 30. Wash, rinse, repeat. The final drop from 20-15k was FTX related, but I guess people just couldn't drop it 50% in value at a shot. So we dumped 25%, sat at 15k through the end of the year, then up a bit to 16, then back down. Only thing missing was yet another drop to 10k. Finally an inflation report comes out that basically says the inflation last year WAS due to supply shocks caused by a 2+ year lockdown and general stupidity and was NOT some sort of systemic thing that would be around forever. Which means all this economic DOOM was basically bullshit. Couple that with the US job markets being... fine (sure the froth is being fired from dot.coms, but even those chuckleheads are finding jobs quickly) and things may. not. be. that. bad.... And low and behold for the first time in a long while, bitcoin actually went above the level of one of the one-day drops. We went back above 20k. Haven't done that since the drops from 50k we'd recover a bit, then drop another 10k to the "new normal". Finally we have gone back up the "normal" track. So if the economy really *isn't* fucked and things *are* ok overall then we should start seeing 10k jumps in a day, then some selling, then another 10k jump. We shall see. TLDR: Maybe things aren't fucked, and we have been sold a bill of goods called DOOM!!!!! Super TLDR:

It is not general stupidity. It is a blatant crime. Inflation is due to supply shock of newly printed money. For 2 years the crime syndicate of central banks printed tenths of trillions of fiat money. Covid pLandemic was just a cover up to commit the crime.

New Hat: Krubster
Is it mandatory for Wall observer's to wear a cap and they are not allowed to participate in any signature campaign? I never saw any wall observer participating in signature campaign. No it is not allowed with signature, This avatar they can only contain love from Wall Observer, because you have to follow the rules of that campaign to signatur another one. Generally, your avatar hat will not be accepted for a sig campaign but this isn't written in stone - I have altered hats on request which were accepted for use in sig campaigns. Also, madnessteat has made some pretty decent xhomerx10 knockoff avatar hats using our WO template hat. The original of the image in the center (spaceman) is his work but I altered slightly when I added the sig campaign logo (just to make it more visible as requested by the campaign manager). edit: I forgot about the chipmixer hat avatar

I sunk a nice piece of change back in btc mining gear. More than an entire btc. I used a cc. Got 15 months interest free. Did buys of miners in sept oct nov dec and jan. I also got three dips in Nov and a Nov DCA every Friday. So far so good. Be nice to see a true rally say 30k and then a nice flat strech.
