More miners won't really affect price as much as they do mining difficulty. In other words, the more miners (hashpower) that start mining the less payout each existing miner will get.

As others have said, the price itself will rise/fall depending on supply vs demand. if there are more buyers than sellers then the price goes up.

Hey guys I received my D3 miner today but decided I wanted to sell it.  I was going to list it on ebay but Im too worried about getting scammed.  I know everyones got a hard on for assuming noobs are scammers or whatever (and rightfully so), but whatever I'm taking a shot.  Willing to send pics with labels to prove I own the damn thing.  I know I sound like a hypocrite that I wanna pass on the risk to you by avoiding Ebay, but it's just that I feel like Buyers can abuse the Buyers protection policy, and I thought of multiple ways I can easily be scammed.  (especially with being a first time seller)

The reason I am selling it is I didn't buy the PSU and Bitmain ignored my pleads for one (even though I sent them more money with my original wire because they dont accept wires less then 600 apparently, and the PSU wasn't available when batch 1.5 went live)  And I dont feel like spending another $400 for a PSU after getting fucked by UPS for $400. And deal with noise (apartment), and deal with electricity concerns.  I am willing to give a good price.

So if you want to take the plunge, send me a message and we can maybe work something out.

I'm worried... i bought the D3 batch of 25 July, the order was placed after 2 minutes of open the purchase on site bitmain, i pay in bitcoin and after 30 minutes was confirmed.... first paid first served... today my order is valid, paid but unshipped... the last day to send the item is 25 September.... i hope that is all ok..... i send a ticket of bitmain but for now no reply..... all the order of batch 18/25 september were shipped?

I am in same boat as you, ordered and paid quickly in the sept 18-25 batch - first paid first ship my ass.

I raised a ticket with them and they replied with some generic bs saying the shipping team are preparing the shipment but need to wait as its first pay first ship etc.

Also note that I expect diff to flatten out between batches of miners.  And there are other X11 coins out there to grab and expand your portfolio with - even new ones like PURE and Helium.
