I had this thought for few minutes to take advantage of the situation by buying BCH before HF and then sell after that. Then I just let that idea go away and because of unknown fear as risk for high. I was right staying for. Both are claiming they are real BCash but damage is too big to be repaired. It exposed the both clowns fully and if still anyone can not see what is written on wall, deserves what is coming.

I see that CryptoBridge exchange is not supporting fork of BCH Bcash,
but Escodex exchange is supporting it for everyone who wants to have more vision.
Other exchanges are also conflicted.

Dark time ahead...

hot damn.

i've been waking up screaming over what, uh, escodex and, um, cryptobridge were gonna do. now my nightmares have come true.

if craigcoin wins it'll be the final nail in the coffin for a project that was doomed anyway. anything born from spite and the desire for power ain't gonna finish on a high note.

SV is 75% hashpower. Do you think is it manipulation or true power?

If BCHSV technically wins this - it will be interesting to watch what stance will exchanges take. Will they just award the BCH ticker to them?.. I don't think so. What if some of them do, can this even be so? And will both coins combined be worth more than BCH today. It would be a big blow to BCH reputation and in normal circumstances should decrease the price even if combined. Just like it was decreased in Poloniex exchange.

Very good questions asked here.

Probably these are the questions of maybe 2-3 exchanges as the smaller will follow. And lobbying behind it is thus important.
The fact is that this is not a "standard" fork and holding BCH to increase your portfolio value is not so straightforward. IMO is actually too risky to just hold BCH and gain from it, so (financially) I will not be involved.

On Poloniex BCHSV has flippened the ABC already so in response to your question based on the set parameters by BCH team. Who will win the race will deserve to be rewarded the ticker of BCH. What we were watching till now was just trailer as real movie has yet to start after successful hard fork. Lot of fun, excitements and disappointment are waiting for us depend on the status of everyone.

Any ideas as to what someone with BCH should do with it at this time? Should I just leave it on my cold wallet for now? I've missed so much profit from the SV futures market, is the value from SV going to assimilate into BCH after the fork?

Sit back and let others fight it out? I think it's too late to profit from any manoeuvres now.

If bch is eaten by sv I don't see how that can be positive for the value but this space is getting more shameless by the day so maybe it will.

I remember when BCH first came to life and some folks claimed that some sort of "flippening" will happen, BTC would be dethroned etc. Just the thought of this nonsense still makes me giggle. Now watch what is happening to it. Gotta love that comedy. I love crypto for keeping me high-spirited like this.

I am no expert, but I guess just keeping BCH in a popular wallet where you control private keys is good enough. I will keep mine in Bitcoin ABC and will try to claim other forks way later after the split, I am sure someone in this forum will post a guide if need be how to safely do it Wink Just need to wait some time for dust to settle before claiming, because there are threats about reversing transactions etc.. and since there is no replay protection I understand ABC and SV need to become separated by different protocol or smth with completely separate blockchains.
Or you can use Poloniex, but I read they are strinct on verification, so keep in mind if you are concerned Wink

I remember 14 months ago too.

Worried about my trust rating? I am too. Bitcointalk users ‘Lauda’ and ‘gmaxwell’ have abused their superior powers in trust system to align their views with the ‘correct views.’ In no legal system in any jurisdiction do we have a definition for what Bitcoin is, they do not have the power to tell us what it is based on the rule of law.

What is recommended to do now? sell BCH because it will be worthless after the fork, or keep it for the airdrop? I bought for 600 USD, so I would make a loss, but not a big one...

(unpaid publicity)

The Electron Cash software is already compatible with both the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network as well as the new BSV network. To switch from one network to another, you can simply select a different server from the network tab.

If Bitmain's hash power is redirected from BTC to BCH, what happens to the BTC chain? Is this enough to stall the chain? When is the difficulty retargeting?

Sounds like you don't understand a whole lot about bitcoin.

Haha. Why don't you point me to what exactly you think I misunderstand then. Or are you incapable of more than muttering platitudes?

What's your comment on your your savior's meltdown @ Roger Ver the other day?

WTF is this 'savior' shit?

Quote

'Meltdown'? Doesn't look like a meltdown to me. Looks like a warning. Given the hash power SV has been bringing on line, it seems it may have been the most useful info Roger could have gotten from CSW. Sure, it's phrased harshly. Whatevs. What do you want - useful information, or a scrumptious candy coating?

Quote
Satoshi displayed no signs of ever being such a tremendous cunt, which is all CSW ever was.

Relevance?

So long Bcash. It was nice making fun of you.
