Wonder why all these folks are bashing IXC?

IXC has around much longer than almost every alt-coin out there with the exception of NMC.

Yet, it trades at near $800,000 market cap.   That's pretty good for something that supposedly nobody cares about.

IXC has solved one big problem that most other alt-coins have not... security.

Certainly it's not as popular as many other coins, but we do hope over time that it indeed gains tractions.

However, IXC has proven that it will last for a very very long time.

You can't say that for many of the alt-coins out there.

Also,  compare the price chart with LTC or DOGE in the last 3 months,   IXC beats them easily!

I think iXcoin solves more than just one major problem.  Security is key but Bitcoin has some issues, serious issues, which iXcoin also solves.

Lol, try another entity.

Try to find another near-dead community getting top votes on major exchanges.

Look at DigitalCoin as an example. Active development, big investors and one of the largest communities around yet if you look at Mintpal, IXC blows it away in voting. 

There's much more than a different language going on here.

Yeah, I've been pretty busy and so far all the ones I liked were not easy enough to do by hand or others didn't like them.

So I'm still waiting to see what other variations get posted before choosing a winner.

ok, I've made another variation where the 'i' is a squiggle with a diagonal line crossing it to make the 'x'

Think it should be fairly simple when writing it by hand:

That's a pretty symbol but we really need a one letter currency symbol at this point.

Something like the $ or € or ¥.

2 letters won't work for obvious reasons so let's keep trying for 1 letter.

I'm not acting.

I personally don't like the old symbol - it's too plain and bland. 

And I won't be choosing the winning symbol, I'll put it up for vote.  And I still persoanlly prefer an X with and i forming the X.

Finally, the most popular and well known currency symbols are 1 letter and for simplicity reasons it would be best to keep it at one letter.  Whether going with an i or an X - there's no reason we can't come up with an excellent 1 letter currency symbol.

Suggestion for the Community:

I'm thinking of starting a new thread given Thomas is here only once every 3-6 months.

If we start getting a lot of new investors coming in we really need an OP we have access to.  As it is iXcoin appears fragmented.  3 different websites, 2 different GitHubs with one being a copy of i0Coin and so on.

The main wallet, people are directed to is still the version that won't even compile. This really makes us look incompetent.

If we want to have major investors looking at us we need to get more organized and whoever the OP is has to be in constant communication and it doesn't appear Thomas cares to give us even 1 appearance per week.

If the majority here think this is a good idea I'll start a new thread and try to clean up some of the confusion.
