Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I don't think that's possible.  Deleting posts is possible, adding posts back isn't.

the faucet link was on page 247 (i´m 100% sure because i use the link every day since 1 week or so). Now it´s on page 229. Means about 20 sites disappeared over night.

edit: @vlad
why adding back? 236 is lesser than 260.  Smiley Or what do you mean?

That's right, got it backwards.

So someone deleted nearly 30 pages of posts from this thread?

Riddle me that!

That means it was a regular poster here.  Find out which regular name is missing and we find out which guy deleted all his posts - or maybe someone else deleted them.

Very strange indeed.

Found it!

It was deadsea33.

His post count went from ~530 to 13.

And most of his posts were on this thread.

Very bizarre!

Edit:  But he did leave his post saying he wanted CEX to remain on the board as an honorary member.  If he should have deleted any post that should have been his top #1 pick.  lol

We still love you, Deadsea33!

I am confused!

Deadsea33 may be quitting the board at the end of this month.  Too many mind-games and too much stress for him.  I can't blame him.  I tried to talk him out of it but I'm not sure if he will change his mind.

Some people say 'you always get an evil twin!' Guess which one IXC is....I have twin boys and I would say they are pretty much on par!

Where would you safely store a large amount of IXC Vlad?
Is there a compatible hardware wallet for this stuff yet?

I don't trust any online wallets and I don't trust myself.  Best thing is a cold [hardware] wallet stored inside a bank vault.

Ironic to use a bank vault to protect their arch enemy.  lol

Now 230 [and shrinking].

Someone is cleaning more posts.  A lot of posts.

This oddness is only befitting for a coin like IXC.  lol

Jumbly, your idea, like communism, sounds great on paper but in reality it will simply never work.

People inherently do things in favor of their own self interests and those with money and power seek to consolidate more money and power for themselves.

This is a fact of life which will never ever change.

So I agree, it would be nice to have a global currency which stands for everything the original Bitcoin [lie] was supposed to be - anonymous, free, decentralized, etc., but in this real world that simply will never happen for a number of good reasons and a number of selfish humanly flawed reasons.

So we do the best we can.

As for my 1% - there are people (like Satoshi, Roger Ver, etc.,) who have much more than 1% of Bitcoin and from the looks of it Bitcoin is doing great and those people have done little to nothing to give back to the community which made them stinking rich.

Will Bitcoin [or Crypto] be the wet dream Satoshi sold us all on?  Never, it was never designed to be a currency by the people for the people and by next year even fools like Andreas will have to openly admit this obvious fact.

So we do what we can to do what is right given our limited power and even more limited opportunities.

If every person on earth made this good-faith effort we would be living in a much better world.

Cheers!

Sadly this is going to have to be one of the odd times im going to disagree with you vlad. Wether it made certain people rich or not im not going to dispute. At the end of the day at the start of BTC a rich person could have got much more BTC stocked up than someone with less wealth. Just like in the fiat system.

Aside from that the technology of bitcoin is what satoshi gave to us. wether it was designed for mass destruction or world peace. The technology in itself is something which is very valuable which the people here are improving upon when these concepts might never have been thought of or been realistic to implement before.
