Although he did his due diligence for a few days after I talked to him.  I did not ask him what he saw to convince him to join ixc so I have no idea what, if any, plans he has.

Either way we are very lucky to have a man like Mr. Terpin.

Correct but it's shocking to me how IXC can't get a single article written and nothing moves the price up.  It's like iXCoin is invisible to the world and this thread is shadow banned.

I would buy any coin which had just one influential person on the board yet that didn't happen when we had CEX and it's not happening now.  Very very strange.

But to be honest it's something that I can't even control.  If I truly believe in something, like I have in iXCoin, then something inside me completely takes over and even if I wanna quit, which I have almost done with IXC a few times, I simply can't stop myself.

So if history is any indication - I will continue doing all I can with whatever resources I'm given.

Since exchanges now take paid voting for adding alt coins which I consider a public bribe, I think it would be interesting to see publications like Coin Desk announce the price in btc they would accept as a bribe or in purchased adds (a bribe) in exchange for writing an article on an alt coin.

While I am on the subject of connections I think some members of the community should consider running a node for iX if you have the resources.
This will hardly use any bandwidth at all compared to what it costs to run a bitcoin node

Sorry I never released the linux qt wallet for 9.x ix but honestly I had just installed the new debian on a vm and started  experimenting with part of the operating system.  Next thing I knew I think 7 or 8 hours went by in what felt like thirty minutes.

I will say gitian did not work out at all for me building iX when I tried it.  Eventually we can rewrite this to get it going.  I did like the toolchain method GR had put in the source to build with but last time I tried those (which was several months ago) was on what was recommend (Mint )  it was not quite ready.

Does anybody know how the trust rating works? 30 days ago I was at around +22 and now it's +130.

But I've only had a few additional positive ratings added in the past 30 days so I don't understand what's going on.

I'm not gonna complain, it's nice seeing something unexpected and nice happen for once but I wish I understood how that was possible in such a short span of time.

But some can see it.  Not just me.

So why can't you see it?

This may be a little premature but I'm hopeful.

I've been talking to CEX.io to get them back on the board. I promised no pressure, allowing them to focus on their various projects and work on IXC [only if and when they decide].

My gut feeling says CEX is back in so I added them back in but this is just a gut feeling at the moment.

Sorry the pic is a bit rough, I barely learned how to use FaceBook a few weeks ago so my "world changing powerful skills" to not include "computer stuff".  Haha!

Looks beautiful seeing the seats filling up:  But of course, no news or a budge in the price, that would be wrong.  lol

Anyone have a better and or easier to understand tutorial then build-unix.md?
I'm using linux mint 17 and am totally confused as to what exact dependencies are required as well as

I can def cut and paste in lines like
Build requirements:

   sudo apt-get install build-essential
   sudo apt-get install libtool autotools-dev autoconf
   sudo apt-get install libssl-dev

To build with Qt 4 you need the following:

    sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler

However not sure where to go from here.


These commands don't seem to be cut and paste. autogen seems to have some cut and paste code but configure and make ....

To Build
---------------------

   ./autogen.sh
   ./configure
   make

This will build ixcoin-qt as well if the dependencies are met.

Vlad. if youve trusted someone and theyve trusted you then all that persons trusts and links to you also add onto your score.

That is why it shows high on your side. but no one has trusted you from the scammy DefaultTrust list. thats why to most it shows as 0

And where is this scammy default trust list so I can track everyone down and convince them I'm superman?

What's the point of a 131 positive trust rating if only a few people can see them.  Sad!!!

Why don't all you guys who can't see my rating but can think [of just one good thing] I've EVER done please give me one positive trust rating.

And I'll return the favor and probably have to add each other to the trust network.

At least then those of you involved here can see it.
