From 8:00 AM CET my Bitfury rig stop revive jobs from Eligius pool. Avalon rig in different location/network stop work in this some time for few min. than run smoothly till now. On Bitfury I try different accounts, IP addresses, connect to other network, synchronize time, nothing work. When switch to others pools like slush, run without any problem. The problem disappeared after 8 PM. Maybe the reason was the daylight savings time change?
I believe the DST change is next week. Not in my country. DST change yesterday mornig (27-10-2013) Huh. I guess I just assumed that everyone who participates in the DST stuff switched at the same time. Learn something new every day

I have no idea what 'tonal' means in this context - but I am totally down with getting rid of DST In the tonal system it is defined that there are 10 tims per day, which are further divided into 10 timtons, 100 timsans, and 1000 timmills (all numbers in tonal base, 8*2). There is no DST defined, and it is generally used without time zones. So the time right now is .0045

When I tested out Eligius a few days ago and found out I did not like it I switched back to original pool. Right now I have a a very little amount of BTC that I earned on Eligius that I want to send to my wallet. How do I do this? I even checked the payout schedule/log and can't find anything there.

But people in the US refuse to even use the metric system, which is, I think, a lot more intuitive for non-computer people, being base-10. It's hard to imagine getting most people to use a base-16 system, even if it is clearly superior overall.

It's hard to imagine getting most people to use a base-16 system, even if it is clearly superior overall. On the contrary, decimal is a very unnatural system for humans to work with. We're good at binary division, not fifths. The SI ("metric system") people refused to consider non-decimal systems because their treaty/mandate was to create a specifically decimal system of units. Their system has achieved adoption only by force, never freely, and encountered (and still encounters) plenty of reasonable resistance. Despite the many flaws with the US, I have to give it props for not forcing this unnatural system on us.

Me too... Go to your 'My Eligius' page, and click on 'Configurable Options' (It's the same place where you set your payout amount). There is a field on that page called 'NMC Merged Mining Addr'. Just copy and paste the namecoin address you want payments to go to. Then you will have to sign the options message with your bitcoin client, just like you do when setting your payout.

You will probably have to open an acct on BTC-E so you can have a Namecoin wallet address to enter in that field....that is probably the easiest place to sell them if that is your intention.

Or you can run the namecoin client, and get a namecoin address directly from it, the same as you would get a bitcoin address from your bitcoin client.

Reminder: Whether it works in practice or not, exchange addresses have always been unsupported for mining to on Eligius. Namecoin is a domain name system, not a currency.

It looks like the minimum for payout is 0.01048576. You can set the payout by going to "My Eligius" page, then selecting "Configurable Options", then set the minimum payout and sign the message to save the new settings.

I have been showing this message for 3 days now:
Approximately 0.00000000 BTC remaining to enter payout queue. Maintaining your 3 hour hashrate average, this will take at least another a few seconds at current network difficulty of 390928787.64.
Is Eligius not paying anyone else out? I moved off and just left a single 333mh asicminer pointed at it incase they wouldn't payout unless I mined there.

It will pay out after 7 days of no activity (activity includes shelves shares becoming active)

And if the stats are down again for whatever reason, remember, the pool has a JSON API as well. http://eligius.st/~luke-jr/raw/7/cppsrb.jsonhttp://eligius.st/~luke-jr/raw/7/balances.json (big file, >3.5M) Use something like python -c 'import json, urllib2; print json.loads(urllib2.urlopen("http://eligius.st/~luke-jr/raw/7/cppsrb.json").read())["1AddiCt8ghkH8zwPpcv8W8SxcQEoGTSJFS"]' or python -c 'import json, urllib2; print json.loads(urllib2.urlopen("http://eligius.st/~luke-jr/raw/7/balances.json").read())["1AddiCt8ghkH8zwPpcv8W8SxcQEoGTSJFS"]' to get your particulars.

Seems to return the same wrong values you see on the webpage when it's broken (like now).
