Anyone notice the little easter egg in the block statistics?  I got a nice chuckle out of it Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Web server down for a moment.  Mining is fine.  No shares lost, as per usual.

Stats will be caught up shortly and I'll put the webserver back online.

Are you running a server at your house or something? Seeing your own name "~wizkid057.....:" in some of the URL's makes me think something isn't setup right somewhere. Hopefullly you are on a dedicated or a good VPS. Doesn't seem setup right though, no?

hi guys, how do i track miners separately as i see some addresses on the top list doing it? i have tried googling and your docs, with no info!
Would be great to be able to track each worker separately..

You can make workers by using a user name of <bitcoin address>_<worker_name> for each worker instead of just <bitcoin_address> for all of them.

The hash rate on the site shows the effective hash rate in two minute time intervals.  So if you have lucky/unlucky streaks, you will see fluctuation.  The 3 hour and 12 hour has rates reported should match much more closely what your miners are reporting (assuming continuous mining for the prior 3 and 12 hour time frames.

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.

Thanks! Works great. Maybe something for the wiki?

Seeing the same as someone above.  Until the 4th Nov my hashrate graph was smooth, between 25GH and 30GH.  Never above, never below.  The past few days it's fluctuating between 20GH and 40GH.  Same hashrate (28GH) at this end.

Things should be pretty much back to normal.  If you're still stuck on work that is too high of a difficulty, please reconnect, although I'm pretty sure I reset everyone correctly.

I'm not sure what wiki you mean, but a nice thing about wikis is that anyone can add useful information to them Wink

I am still getting diffs that are twice what I normally get, even after reconnecting.

Love the no registration/no fee pool. Keep up the great work WK.
I'll gladly take the student moniker in this incredible field of work.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My issue: CampBX has started killing addresses after a week, Guess they don't like miner outputs. As a new Eligius Miner, My first day was run using CampBx. I stopped, and redirected output to a static address. But now final payout (commencing after 7 days) will be to a "deleted" CampBx address. It's not much but still...

It may be a dumb question but I must ask, is there a way to redirect these final payouts?  Since the Miners are I.D.d, can we request old output from said miner, be sent to current output for said miner?

I can't find anything poking around Eligius menus.

Then "change mining address".
That won't work...

I too was on too high of diff's, also when do namecoin payouts happen?  Any way to track stats on namecoin merge mining?

Whoever runs this pool, can you please pay this account out? It has been about 7 days. I know there isn't much there, but I won't be mining there anymore and I have no idea or if this pool would even pay the rewards I made there. Thanks.

Does the variance graph on the main stats page reflect cumulative luck since the start of operation?
I mean, there was 100% paid event in mid-March, does it include shelved shares from SMPPS times?

Not sure where you're getting your data from.  There hasn't been a "100% paid event" pool-wide since the SMPPS system was lucky and had a buffer about 2 years ago.

The variance graphs are exactly as stated.... the earnings of "a hypothetical 1GH miner who started mining at Eligius at block height 210000".

I may be misunderstanding smth.
I'm looking at "Eligius Reward Variance" graph.
I can see 0% est_shelved (100% est_paid) on march 11, 2013. What does it mean exactly?
