To everyone having Pennies issues after Jan. 8th: Debug instructions1. Open "Command Line Banking" and type 'getinfo' - Make sure protocolversion is 7000 (version 0.10.0.0-beta) - If not, go update to v0.10.0.0 2. Open "Command Line Banking" and type 'checkwallet' - Make sure it responds {"wallet check passed" : true} - If not, run 'repairwallet' and wait. 3. If your blockchain is stuck/not syncing - Check your pennies.conf and wipe any nodes you aren't sure about - Add 'node.cryptsy.com' Woops, seems cryptsy may have missed the update, hold off on that* - Save and restart wallet 4. If it's still stuck - Shut down wallet - Go into your pennies appdata (%APPDATA%\Pennies) - Delete all files other than 'pennies.conf' and 'wallet.dat' - Relaunch wallet - Wait for it to resync the chain from scratch If none of this works, just wait a few days for the network to sort itself out, then open an issue on the github. *Try some of these nodes for now: addnode=75.119.241.185 addnode=188.222.120.163 addnode=2.216.38.147 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=183.153.13.11 addnode=42.96.201.118 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=72.174.219.9 addnode=113.206.141.230 addnode=199.231.247.24 addnode=92.52.52.124 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=109.78.208.109 addnode=82.34.194.168 addnode=145.255.23.57 addnode=115.28.15.70 addnode=5.248.230.129 addnode=178.166.1.103 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=174.65.11.157 addnode=178.74.103.10 addnode=83.157.206.130 addnode=64.110.233.157 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=42.96.193.193 addnode=183.37.245.53 addnode=142.129.4.173 addnode=178.93.49.228 addnode=2.222.111.126 addnode=203.79.110.171 addnode=72.225.203.147 addnode=116.7.245.26 addnode=85.26.233.168 addnode=2.216.240.90 addnode=24.13.167.104 addnode=211.142.130.19

THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THIS COIN THAT IS APPARENTLY BEING IGNORED.
No, there isn't, but there seems to be an issue with your head that should be addressed, but not by me.

If none of this works, just wait a few days for the network to sort itself out, then open an issue on the github.
Hey guys, just restart your computer and everything will work... Great answer.

You can create pennies.conf using notepad :
listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 rpcallowip=10.0.0.* rpcuser=x rpcpassword=x rpcport=7997 addnode=node.cryptsy.com

I can imagine that Cryptsy wallet for CENTs has a large part of them...
Just the top 200 sell orders for LTC plus the top 200 sell orders for XPM have the nice value of: 2.060.234.387.087 (little over 2 US trillions)
I can imagine that there are quite a few more orders, that there are coins which are not in orders and finally their own balance of coins created from stakes.
Cryptsy must really love CENT!!
to quote Big Vern on asked on the CENT probem " I'm just thinking if chucking them all at any wallet"

There's around 39.7 trillion and the market cap would be approximately $1.3 million @ 0.00000001 XPM per unit.

cent is too expensive at 0.00000001 xpm considering there may be over 37 trillion cent cent ought to start trading perhaps at 0.00000001 xpm PER 30 TO 100 CENT (not per 1 cent as it is now) or something like that. What is the market cap if there are 37 trillion cent, at 0.00000001 xpm ? You think that price is expensive? Don't tell the people buying it at BTER---

Don't tell the people buying it at BTER--- I don't want that company to open deposits just yet, other wise the bone heads will just crash the market. Did you know pennies have the largest volume of trade on Cryptsy? We just need a few applications that act like a sink for Pennies. Imagine if people or organizations paid people to either follow them or retweet their tweets on twitter. If that happen then people would say "what 37 trillion?". Wait a minute! What if Pennies were to be used by not only games to help facilitate micro transaction between the different games, but Pennies were to be used as micro transaction currency between social media sites as well? People could use the Pennies they earned while playing games to support musicians on Myspace. Advertisement companies, and political organizations ought to snag up pennies while they're cheap. Ron Paul could of paid people 5000 pennies per person to retweet on his videos,if this penny infrastructure existed at the time of his presidency.

I've followed your instructions, including resynching the chain, and it's stuck on block 50623 like everyone else. So are you saying that the network will end up sorting itself out and requires no intervention to fix the issue? I do not use github so I was hoping this thread would be the place to raise issues.

Conflict of interest? A bunch of twats trying to undermine my efforts by attempting to fit round coins into square holes is no conflict of interest on my part. Pennies has a purpose, and I will do everything I can to keep it true to that purpose. I must insist you stop trying to destroy this currency. You will lose.
Not interested in destroying a currency that I and others have cash sunk into. I will, however, stop my efforts and look for a better option. I know this makes you happy. You're welcome. I will PayPal you the $2.00 you have spent on pennies. Will that help? That should double the amount you have invested...

Just sent 100,000 to Cryptsy as a test and it transferred ok, it shows in my Cryptsy balance. But the wallet still reports Out of Sync and the transactions in Register show as unconfirmed, even though the balance has appeared at Cryptsy...

My wallet is synced but some cents from a few hours are going back from savings to savings interest. They were all confirmed yesterday. Is it something bad or they will go back to savings when network will calm down?

Alright, from what i'm seeing there's one of 3 problems going on at the moment. 1. Cryptsy is outdated and everyone who is reporting successful transactions is too. 2. There's a fork. 3. Uhhh, I forgot what this one was. However, while i was writing this i tried connecting to the cryptsy node with no success, leading me to believe that it's problem #1. Make sure your wallet is updated and try connecting to these nodes: addnode=75.119.241.185 addnode=188.222.120.163 addnode=2.216.38.147 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=183.153.13.11 addnode=42.96.201.118 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=72.174.219.9 addnode=113.206.141.230 addnode=199.231.247.24 addnode=92.52.52.124 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=109.78.208.109 addnode=82.34.194.168 addnode=145.255.23.57 addnode=115.28.15.70 addnode=5.248.230.129 addnode=178.166.1.103 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=174.65.11.157 addnode=178.74.103.10 addnode=83.157.206.130 addnode=64.110.233.157 addnode=109.162.69.19 addnode=42.96.193.193 addnode=183.37.245.53 addnode=142.129.4.173 addnode=178.93.49.228 addnode=2.222.111.126 addnode=203.79.110.171 addnode=72.225.203.147 addnode=116.7.245.26 addnode=85.26.233.168 addnode=2.216.240.90 addnode=24.13.167.104 addnode=211.142.130.19
I'll be pushing out a checkpoint update that should address any forking issues should there be any in the near future (as well as max_tx).

I'm not sure why people are getting stuck at 50623, my chain's currently at 242690 and reports that there are currently 243036 blocks in the chain.
I will look into this further.
