Whats up with the slow order placement?
When you place a order way above price (or any order), it's visible in the "open orders tab" 1st WTF, then it is in Queue for 5 seconds.. 2nd WTF??
meanwhile the price runs away from you, I know Bitstamp is a respectful company that will not frontrun on you, but some people might suspect that.

So again, important updates are being spread everywhere except direct customer email notification.

Yup. I don't like this general trend of companies just slapping their updates on Twitter and be done with it. An important bit of news such as maintenance-downtime could be shown on a static "maintenance version" of the site that is active while the regular service is being worked on. It would be far more informative than a random Incapsula page and would look quite a bit more professional.

+1 How f%&king hard can it be: Event X (whether a) planned & known ahead of time, like scheduled maintenance, or b) sudden and unexpected, like a DDOS) happens, customers are notified ahead of time, case a), or as soon as possible, case b), via Email, twitter, and a short update in a bitcointalk.org 'official' thread. Should take 10 extra minutes to copy&paste it into the various fields.

Any updates about since parameter for transaction api method which was lost in October 2013? Current solution produce overhead comparing to using "since" where you can grab only what you need. Why didn't you limit "since" value to one week ago if you don't want to be overloaded by full history downloads via this method.

https://www.bitstamp.net/article/bitcoin-withdraws-suspended/Dear Bitstamp users
Bitstamp’s exchange software is extremely cautious concerning Bitcoin transactions. Currently it has suspended processing Bitcoin withdrawals due to inconsistent results reported by our bitcoind wallet, caused by a denial-of-service attack using transaction malleability to temporarily disrupt balance checking. As such, Bitcoin withdrawal processing will be suspended temporarily until a software fix is issued.
No funds have been lost and no funds are at risk.
This is a denial-of-service attack made possible by some misunderstandings in Bitcoin wallet implementations. These misunderstandings have simple solutions that are being implemented as we speak, and we're confident everything will be back to normal shortly.
Withdrawals which failed on the 10th and 11th of February will be canceled and the amounts added back to the customer account balances.
We will communicate any further developments regarding this issue.
Thank you for your understanding!
Best regards Bitstamp team

They have much better PR than gox, I'm inclined to believe them.
This chaos is a good time to take a little break from btc craziness and go on with your real life stuff.
