Is this based on PPC? If yes what makes it different?

It could be argued that PPC is closer to a BTC clone;  than UTC is related to PPC.....

-Different max coins
-Different block reward
-Different Algorithm
-Different POS interest
-Does not have wealth tax
-Block reward not variable relative to hashrate
-etc etc

Is UTC based on PPC source code?

How are you guys not getting a ton of HW errors with that config?

My 280x's will just hang using  thread concurrency 16384 and with i=12 i get hw errors

It depends on if we can promote and package UTC as coin representing Scrypt-Jane.

Well as BTC for SHA, LTC for Scrypt, now we have UTC for Scrypt-Jane.

Another selling point is super fast confirmation.

If this is the case, UTC will move towards top5 as community grow and more miners join.

so is UTC like VTC except that it also has POS element? Is this the first scrypt-jane coin that does both POW/POS?

Don't forget to talk up the impending influx of Alpha miners. That will really make scrypt-jane mining the only game in town for the avg miner. Once those units ship and hash, it's game on.

GET ON BOARD THE MINING TRAIN NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
