Something occurring? Price has made a nice few jumps in the last hour.

I don't know either.
But prices have recently been unstable!
But I believe that its price will rise. Smiley

I love this coin. I designed a custom Physical Coin ( not finished yet ) , and also some Laser Engraved UTC Keychains!

The key chains finally came today!

I am listing them on a site I recently made as well!

I have it setup so I can manually take UTC payment ( can also take automated BTC, and LTC payments ), so test it out and let me know how it works!

http://www.cryptomemorabilia.com/

Any questions, send me a PM or email!

-Brian Gleason

Really nice, might get 1 or 2 of them at some point

I'm glad some of you do it willingly, but the fact that he won't pony up a penny drives me insane.

I tapped into my asic budged to pay for this.....if i didnt get this back i would loose thousands of dollars (the full refund period is over)......and i need those asics to expand the UTC network with the gains.

And this is a community coin, not just my coin.We are all part of this

Are we expecting the price to increase when the next n-factor change comes?

I don't think so diff jumps and n-factor change the price. Or maybe i'm wrong but i know when n-factor changes miners must update settings on rigs.
This will be an exciting day for me. The next challenge.
I think that the price will shoot when the construction UTC rocket to the moon by NASA will be done;)
Mine/Buy hold and respect your UTC.
UTC should not take long to stand on his feet.

reorder (owner of 1GH pool such as max.1gh.com & hvc.1gh.com) told me that he will consider adding Ultracoin to the pool.
He said he will watch its volume / price before doing so. I certainly wouldn't mind another nice pool to mine with.
It would also be unique enough that people might move some of their miners off Nitro to even out the hash rate a bit more.

The reason why I picked him and contacted him for his pool is because of a few things:
1. The pool is an anonymous pool!! No logins. No signups. More secure & simple. Payout is every 30mins on confirmed coins.
2. Rock solid / stable, DDoS protection and has US and APAC stratum servers.
3. Low fee of 1%.
4. He is really good at tweaking cgminer to improve its hash rate also. Such dev skill is always welcome.
(e.g. Yesterday, he released his tweaked cgminer build that hash more than 2-3x the speed that it was originally for Heavycoin)

Well this is good but the situation is that orphans are over 10% on other pools and Nitro's fee is only 3%, so if you mine elsewhere you lose a difference of 7% of coins plus that pool's fee. There is no incentive to mine at other pools and no disincentive to mine at Nitro.
I was at Greekpool with 0% fee but switched to Nitro because why should I lose out on 7%+ profit?
Will probably mine Neo or some other coin, might wait until N-factor 12 on 04 / 06 / 14 @ 02:10:08am UTC, not sure what requirements will be.

You realize this is like Myspace saying they are investing in Facebook right?  If you really wanted to invest, you would have bought a GPU farm with the 20 - 30K you spent on ASICs and supported your own network, not Litecoins.

power here cost 29 cent per kilowatt...gpu farms are not realistic....hardware costs aswell.

Scrypt asics will create fallout of miners and they will come to Jane coins, its a win/win for UTC

yep, I have an ASIC on order from Alpha-T as well, once it arrives I will mine what ever currency I can and then use that to BUY Ultracoin, as I see a bright future in this coin.
Out of curiosity bumface, what spec ASIC did you get / how many?

Developers do not invest money in the coin itself
The final profit is again who?
Let us think about this problem?
We give them the money
