Why the enforcement is off again??
There was a small network issue last night that I'm looking into, enforcement is off while I figure out what happened. That's actually the exact block that caused it too.

Wallet / Miner XxDotRpSDzgyAkx3jHkLZD8YYZRwbcjmmA seems to be running an unknown MN version which gets him unpaid (MN fees wise) and not-rejected blocks .. https://drk.mn/blocks.html

... payment processors will be interested only in reliability, not clearing times. ...
80% of the world will be interested only in clearing times, not payment processors. You know, that whole centralized vs. decentralized thingy. I think the instant transaction issue is complicated. Retailers will be offered payment processor solutions that give instant funds clearance. InstantX for retailers is not an issue.InstantX is important for those that don't want to pay fees to payment processors. Once crypto payment is widely accepted and retailers don't feel the need to cash out into Fiat, then InstantX will be important. Retailers will want to skip paying payment processors and just use their own wallets. That is the point where they will want instant confirmations for security. And then it happened....... BitPay Proposes Zero-Confirmation Instant Payments Solution http://cointelegraph.com/news/113409/bitpay-proposes-zero-confirmation-instant-payments-solutionThey say it's trustless as possible, but I can't see how one company implementing such a thing could possibly be trustless? Though I haven't read the white paper yet (I'm really burned out ATM) Oh, I get your point now, you're saying payment processers will come on line, but ultimately, or eventually instantX will look good because of the super low fees (there are still tiny fees, just like when mixing). Interesting. But will it be enough to move to another coin? (Darkcoin)

Its a similar argument when comparing switching from credit card payment processing to bitcoin. Retailers that can save 0.5% will, eventually, switch. So, when the market is stable, why continue paying a third party 0.5% to provide instant transactions, on top of bitcoin mining fees, when you can get transactions processed by Darkcoin for just the mining fee? Bitcoin vs. Darkcoin will start to become more and more interesting over the next 3 years. People now have a choice, made easier with the move by Darkcoin to Bitcoin Core. So once enough people start making the move to Darkcoin and Bitcoin, then its only a matter of time before Darkcoin gets established. And then its only a matter of time before it overtakes Bitcoin, if Bitcoin doesn't innovate in the anonymity space.

i dont think its otoh. its too early to sell off. %20 should not enough just fun to use the 666 number for another whale... Correct, it isn't me, yesterday I edged the floor up another fraction to .0073 on Cryptsy, hoping that I may tempt the price down there this week, even if it's only catching some lower spike/s as volume bot has stopped playing for now, but we'll see.

So someone with lots of darkcoin generates a huge volume, people think the price is supposed to shoot off, and then the same bastard sells everything down. Keeps the price deliberatelly low, accumulates decent amount of DRK and then repeats... is this what is happening?

What is happening is that the price is rising and resting, rising more and resting, rising more and resting...the big picture is UP, and just at beginning! Why do you mind about "bastards"?

I think Darkcoin price fluctuation is directly linked to the bitcoin price. I think some whales use Darkcoin to hedge against Bitcoin.

I think Darkcoin price fluctuation is directly linked to the bitcoin price. I think some whales use Darkcoin to hedge against Bitcoin. Dogecoin is bigger hedge coin against BTC fluctuations by "whales" It is still mined to set market price, but it is tiny amounts that are given out on the block compared to last year. Hash Network breakdown DRK About 80GHs on Darkcoin network permanently, Long Term miners (own a lot of DRK from when it was under 50 cent a coin) who holding new mined coin for block reductions over next 3-10 years Multi-Switching Profit Miners (Do not own a lot of DRK from when it was under 50 cent a coin) normally 20GHs jumps onto Darkcoin Network when difficulty goes down and it profitability rises to 0.15BTC to 0.28BTC per GHs Price of DRK goes to 0.0084BTC, 43ghs is jumping on when difficulty goes down and profitability rises to 0.15BTC to 0.28BTC per GHs This mean extra coins going to Multi-Switching Profit Miners, who are most likely to put them onto the exchanges; this causes the price to drop back a little from 0.0084BTC.

Guys, I have several reports from different users that wallet crashes sometimes in incomprehensible manner, stops syncing with strange wallet.dat DB error and so on. After solving this issues with them privately I'd like to ask everyone now: Please verify your wallet version reported by getinfo is the most recent one.
That's how you do this: Open "Tools" -> "Debug console" and type "getinfo". Look for the field "walletversion" and if it doesn't match 61000 please do upgrade your wallet buy running it once with -upgradewallet command-line option. Do not forget to close your wallet first and make sure you have the most recent backup available just in case.
BUMP Mine was version 60001. Just did it. Tks for the information.

How exactly do you do this in windows? I tried just downloading the wallet again but it still says version 600001.
