I wish I had bought 40 BTC's worth of Litecoin @ 0.006, then I could have dumped it at .023 and made about 120 BTC profit.

Anybody got a time machine ?

You can have a quick blast on mine.

So far I've :-

Scooped up 470,000+ BTC @ $0.03 (average)
Bought 3M+ shares in M$
Almost the same for Apple
Watched some T-rex's fighting
Appeared in Tante's childhood past to put her on an alternative timeline, saving her from a lifetime of drugs, casual *****, and ******.
Did the same for both Evan and coins101 but (as you can imagine) for completely different reasons.

comment on the distribution of DASH

Perfect then...in the next couple of months...all those coins will all have moved hands if they hadn't already... and we're all golden.  Wink

That happened long ago
[Pretty_picture.jpg]

That's not proof the insta-mine changed hands.  It could just be churn.

If I were a DASHSCAM dev, I too would move the coins around to reassure bagholders fearing dumps.

And don't forget the endless supply of new coins provided by the ongoing dev tax.  I'm sure you intended to address that, but just forgot.   Wink

The root problem here is DASHSCAM devs can wave a magic wand and grant themselves as many coins as they want, or figure they can dump.

They've done it in the past with the insta-mine, they're doing it now with the dev tax, and they will do it in the future.

LoL !

I bought that for a moment when I started reading it. There are a few folk around here who "scooped up" BTC for 0.03.

I'm trying to imagine my alternative past. Its all blurred, mainly due to a warehouse full of China White at my very own Bunny Ranch, which takes Bitcoin and DASH.

Actually, do Bunny Ranch in Nevada take Bitcoin? We should get over to one and ask them to accept Bitcoin and DASH.

Can I see any roadmap for DASH?

I don't think we have one per-se but I made this for you or anyone who might find it helpful to put the basics in perspective Smiley

i am working to implement darksend tech. for my coin quark based bloodcoin
in my test this is working great so far
thank you for making it opensource
this is a great thing and i think it can be used for more things

not hashing, folding and curing (check FLDC merged-folding! reuse good GPUs)

Is this the same quarkcoin that originally used multiple hashing algorithms?  Oh, I see now, you're basing bloodcoin off of quark and then adding darksend.  Well, good luck!  And I agree, masternodes open the door to so many things!  Hope you come up with some great new ideas too!

I will leave it to everyone to figure out a way to link to their deleted posts in order to maintain some context to a discussion.

Some posts that I got deleted, I thought were relevant in the context of economic events being an opportunity to have a discussion with people that are looking for solutions to real world cash shortage problems.

Necessity is the mother of all invention. And a cash crisis is a great free advert for crypto at a point in time when people will give you the time of day and not just laugh at you because everything is running smoothly in fiat land.

How many times have we heard people say things like - 'but why would I use Bitcoin when cash and credit cards work just fine?' Well quite evidently, they don't work fine. Plan B. Gotta have a Plan B against the man taking your cash and credit cards.

I honestly used to laugh at LTC (still do sometimes) but since I've started trading full time I really do see the value in a super liquid ALT pretty much only meant for trading. It has one or two better features than BTC but no one gives a shit, it has leveraged trading which attracts tons of people. If you guys get OKcoin to add DASH 10x leveraged trading, you'll have yourselves some crazy action.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

I am by no means a programmer/developer so I have no idea how difficult/possible this would be, but I think if it could be easy enough that anybody could easily set up a masternode without any major risks, that could be a major selling point as the ROI is very high. It could draw new people into crypto who want a more traditional investment without all the volatility associated with crypto and 24/7 exchanges. I say this with my father and his generation in mind because they are accustomed to 401k style investments where they just want to hold something that won't LOSE value vs inflation over time.
