Maybe, just maybe Bitfinex, never planned to change Darkcoin tag to DASH, and now low volume for delisting is just an excuse, they just make a place for ETH or preparing for going legal with bitlicense like Poloniex did.

Just bought around 200 Dash few days ago , will be a nice drop if everyone is awake and needs to dump their Dash in Bitfinex
well, too bad, hope it will go low enough to buy more

bitfinex never had the intention to rebrand DASH. They just trolled DASH.
That was a red flag for me and I suppose for others too.
Low volume bitfinex??You asked for it.

I would not call this low volume,

2. Bitfinex

#   Currency   Pair   Volume (24h)   Price   Volume (%)
1    Bitcoin    BTC/USD    $ 3,021,340    $ 279.11    71.08 %
2    Litecoin    LTC/USD    $ 1,070,750    $ 4.18    25.19 %
3    Litecoin    LTC/BTC    $ 91,043    $ 4.18    2.14 %
4    Dash    DASH/BTC    $ 38,470    $ 3.31    0.91 %
5    Tether    USDT/USD    $ 19,820    $ 1.00    0.47 %
6    Dash    DASH/USD    $ 9,132    $ 3.38    0.21 %

Total   $ 4,250,556

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Now seems a bit better. So if they are UK based, why its called russian exchange?

They announced on Russian: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1023418.0 (quite new exchange) - so obviously have a Russian management (similar to BTC-e).

was talking about Dash and bitfinex's reason to delist it. on bitcoin and litcoin they have a lot more volume, that's for sure.

 I wished Kraken would accept Dash... Lost case with Darkcoin, but now with Dash they could very well open up to it.

 Anyone ever tried usecryptos.com ?

They are comparing no margin trading of DASH with 20x leverage from BTC and LTC. Well, time to get out of this shitty exchange. Too many signs recently.

 Exactly my thinking. I completely understand they were unable to change the DRK ticker due to the 3 letter coding, but the way they handled it was utterly appalling and seriously unprofessional.

 And when they recently got hacked, that was it for me. They claimed themselves as having the biggest level of security possible, and a secondary reason to only have 2 cryptos, and then a third, Darkcoin. They boasted themselves as being on the cutting edge of crypto finance, but now decide to "delist" Dash due to "low volume" ... which is ridiculous.

 What they don't have is a fee munching mechanism to make their profit margin soar. Completely ridiculous and red flags all the way.

 I much prefer bittrex.com, though poloniex's charts and night view are very very good indeed.

 What I hate most above all though, are trade bots. Even worse than trolls.
