Paycent Adds Dash to Platform, Adding Seamless Fiat Exchange and Debit Card 
A subsidiary of Texcent, Paycent is a Singapore-based platform that enables the management of many fiat and cryptocurrencies within the same wallet, as well as converting back and forth in real time. Users are able to cash in via debit card or cryptocurrency transfer, convert, and cash out via the Paycent debit card. Bradley Zastrow, Dash Core’s Head of Business Development, believes that this integration will improve Dash’s attractiveness for merchants and for cross-border payments and remittances:
“Paycent’s real-time transaction speed and multiplatform API makes this a great opportunity for anyone, regardless of experience with digital assets, to make payments to merchants as well as pay cross-border remittances using their smartphone device. This is the kind of integration that makes cryptocurrency’s payments potential a reality to the global public.”
According to a recent announcement by Paycent, the new Dash integration and trading pairs will be live early next week. |

My Big Takeaways from Dash Core Team Q1 Conference Call Below are my key takeaways from the Dash Core Group Q1 conference call. The call in its entirety is available above.
1: Dash Ventures and network-owned revenue-generating entities
Ryan Taylor expanded on a new legal structure in the works known as Dash Ventures. This will allow new contractors to engage in legal agreements with the network, particularly for network ownership in companies and startups that receive treasury funding. In addition to providing a way of keeping proposal owners accountable and preventing new groups from simply launching their businesses at Dash’s expense, the legal structure can open up new revenue streams long-term, which can have the effect of improving stability for the Dash network and the currency itself, since Dash will be “backed by something.” All Dash Ventures assets will be owned by the masterndoe network, WITHOUT requiring public or private identification. |

Its considered "safe" as a respectable Dash community member & Dash core member are running these services for some time now, without any issue. It is however not a trustless solution, meaning you will have to place some level of trust into it. There are two shared hosting service providers currently : https://docs.dash.org/en/latest/masternodes/hosting.htmlMasternode.me Operated by: moocowmoo (Dash Core team member) Splawik’s Hosting Service Operated by: splawik21 (Dash Foundation member) Both have excellent reputations and both do not require the full 1000 Dash, as other hosting service providers require you to do. I suggest you compare ROI and fees /cost between those two. |
