https://www2.coinmine.pl/drk/
Minimum Cashout: 10 DRK

WTF!?!  Huh Huh

feeleep said he did that in hopes it would force people to get in there and set up their payout.  He doesn't want people storing their coins on his system because he doesn't want to be responsible for it.  Is it stuck so you can not set it to pay out in smaller amounts?  Or is it obviously advertised so you take care of your payouts and it works?  I can't see Smiley

A lot of people asks for the same so I set a limit to 1 DRK for manual payouts.

Interesting Hirocoin folks are talking about a multipool coming up for HIRO. Do we have anything similar in the works? I know there is a bounty out there for the upcoming fork for NOMP and p2pool.

how long does it normally take for the other nodes to be updated with listing your node. My local machine lists the remote node ip after starting it, but when i check the list on the remote machine it does not show in the list. Does it take a while?

edit: for the guys who are getting a 0 at the end, when specifying the ip address with the masternodeaddr command. try putting a   :9999   at teh end.

Ok, I'll try that!  Thanks!

This worked great, except on one server (I have 2 nodes) my old ip address with :0 did not go away after turning off both darkcoind's  When I redid everything, the new version with the correct port showed up fine, with the old one still there.  But when I turned my local machine's darkcoind off, it left the list and I still have that one with the zero up.  Not sure what I can do about this??

I don't know of anyone working on one.  However, some of us suspect CHAOSiTEC might be doing just that with the top secret "Dark Ice"  Huh?

It's time already. Hate to see other communities beat us to it while we have so much promise on every front of this cryptocurrency battle. Multipools made a ton of money in the beginning of the scrypt craze. Middlecoin pool was making upwards of several grand a day for the pool operator back in the day so it's a likely profitable venture. Too bad scrypt runs too hot and Middlecoin went to hell for various reasons.

Ok, I did a quick remote Masternode setup guide that you can use after setting up your server as per chaeplin's guide.  Please check it out here: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/remote-masternode-guide.410/

However, I'm still struggling to fix a problem I'm having.  I previously started my nodes with this command:
./darkcoind -masternodeaddr=54.xxx.xxx.xx
instead of:
./darkcoind -masternodeaddr=54.xxx.xxx.xxx:9999

On one server, I was able to redo everything without issue, and it's running perfectly.  However, the other one still shows up on the masternode list with the 0 in the port option, and it won't disappear, even after stopping darkcoind on both my servers as well as rebooting.  It's stuck there.

Worse still, when I start my masternode up again, it shows up as a duplicate, however with the :9999 port (great) but when I shutdown my local darkcoind wallet, the correct version disappears from the masternode list.  I've tried darkcoind masternode stop (not implemented), rebooting (as mentioned already) and I can't get that bugger off the list.  I suspect it is the reason I can't get the proper one to take.  Any ideas to help me please?

I'm throwing in 50 DRK bounty for anyone able to patch this p2pool code to work with darkcoin masternode payments (rc2) after may 14th hardfork.
https://github.com/chaeplin/p2pool-drk/issues/4

Anyone else want to add DRK to this bounty? Without p2pool darkcoin would lose a major part of decentralization!

Sent my bounty to bountysource - join me and support p2pool with your bounty!

quick question about masternodes....I believe, however I may be wrong, that one can set up a masternode with more than a 1,000. If so, let's say that number is 5,000, so one has '5' masternodes on one ip. Can this 'work' in the sense that it dilutes the number of differing ips and does one get counted as one masternode or as 5? I know this has been covered , just looking for a little more clarity especially if I should set up different ips for each 1,000 dark

I believe you would be counted as one masternode because the only thing that differentiates masternodes from one another, is their ip address.  Your masternode is elected by it's ip address, I believe.  So you need to put them on separate machines to get them to work.

this whole "Dark Ice" thing is intriguing....when do we get some more details?!

On another subject, yes I think a multipool that converts to DRK would be a good idea.  Is this in the works?  I would more than happily point my miner to it if something like this becomes available.

For now it has to be 1000 exactly so you would have to have 5x 1000

With the remote/local Masternode setup, where will the earnings go? to an address on the server or to the local wallet?

sure.

Q. thought about setting up a rent-a-rig service that pays out in DRK?

loads of them around, just not paying in DRKs, though x11 fully featured.
 https://www.betarigs.com for instance.
Getting payed in BTC would be better, help drive the price up. multipool style.

This article (http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-thriving-argentinas-black-market-economy/) got me thinking about about the black market and it's global market value.

It turns out it's circa 1.6 Trillion Dollars (http://www.havocscope.com/products/ranking/).

The current currency of the black market is US Dollars but they are turning to Bitcoin and inevitably will turn to anonymous coins in the future, and as Darkcoin is the leader in this field I predict they will start using it once it has been proven to be reliable in the coming months/years.

The potential for this coin is huge....

1.6 Trillion / 22 Million = ~$73900 per coin --- Wow

Maybe this is why we are seeing massive amounts of DRK being purchased at the current low price.

this might be getting lost in translation.

* I'd like to rent out my rigs, but get paid in DRK

Appreciate that I can just do it and get paid BTC. But I'd rather someone else  with BTC went to the trouble of buying DRK  Wink
