This is a long thread...new buyers have not read it all...
Do you know that darkcoin was instamined at 500 coins per second on day 1?
Do you know that in the first 24hrs 2.2 million coins were mined?
Do you know that no windows wallet was available on day 1?
How do you feel about that?
Hi, I`m no techie and not even quite sure what instamine (as opposed to premine) means, but I´ve read pretty much the whole thread and I`ve seen this topic pop up again and again, as well as the rebuttals and I`ve read the whole story, including Evan`s failed attempt to "airdrop" some DRK. As far as I get it, it was a honest mistake and as you seem to follow this thread, you should by now have read the most recent rebuttals to you claims. So I feel fine about the issue you mention, but I`m starting to feel you are dishonest in your endeavour, i.e. you do not seem to whish to inform people, but to scare them away. Please stop that.

seriously? again? you have been dealt with this issue 3 times now. It is apparent that you haven't read anything about it. Which coin are you working for really? You are just plain jealous. This low tactic is so frustrating if you believe in your other coin build on the strengths of that. Trying to bash on something that's not true for the most promising coin out there is never going to work. Stop wasting your and our time and go and focus on something that works for your coin in another way How come none of you are concerned about this?? 12% of all the darkcoins that ever will be was instamined by Evan a couple of his friends on day 1. What kind of dev launches a coin without a windows wallet? Seriously people, learn the truth! You can't just put your head in the ground and pretend this didn't happen. How many coins are your mining rigs producing for you? 1 maybe 2 per day... Well, your wonderful dev and less than 10 of his friends instamined 500 coins per second on day 1. Think about that for a minute, that is a FACT, not trolling. 500 coins per second! How do you feel about that? it would be a problem if they were valued as much in the beginning as now. Which they weren't.

This is a long thread...new buyers have not read it all... Do you know that this market is going up in valuation and many posters who sold early have resorted to making panicky posts about Windows wallets at launch ? Do you know that it's expected to further revalue once significant work in progress phases complete ? Do you know that "originals" who carve out specific market sectors tend to retain their value whereas clones do not ? How do you feel about that ?

Which they weren't. Oh, and one more thing... Do you know that although Evan is a smart, dedicated Dev, his solution to anonymity is NOT the best solution out there? Google 'ring signiture,' google 'monero,' google 'darkwallet,' and you will find that you have put your trust a good solution, but NOT the best solution. You dark loyalist's have a wierd saviour complex about your dev. He is alright, but he has nothing on the dev's of ring signature coins. They are hackers. They are genuine cryptographers. Evan Duffield is an everyday software designer who wanted to have a go at solving the anonymity problem. Good on him! I salute him for trying! But buyer beware...darksend could be smashed by NSA or hackers in a heartbeat. And even if Darkcoin and darksend is well received how will you compete with more marketable clones? Hail Evan the almighty! We don't mind that you instamined 10% of all the coins that ever will be on day 1! We don't mind that your darksend solution is no where near as good as monero's ring signature solution. We have blind faith in you... Don't hang onto those dark coins for too long...

Pathetic, if you want Monero to succeed I don't think coming here and bashing Dark is the way to do it. Ring signatures are going to be implemented in V2. I will begin development immediately after I opensource V1.

I think this record is stuck. Salute yourself instead for dumping at the wrong time. Also, make sure you don't waste any creative effort in coming up with new content for your posts because you can always just go back a few pages and use copy and paste.

Expect a bit of a rally to start over the next 24-48 hours barring any negative news.
Order book asks starting to thin out. Bids thickening.
4hr MACD histogram has put in its first clear bar on the lee-side of the downwave with crossover projected in about 12-20 hours. 1 hour already flipped slightly wide after glancing off the signal line following Evan's little market 'fright' yesterday.
Analysis is further endorsed by the fact that last night's 2000 sat order book spread has been closed to 1000 by the bid side.
Seats please.
Think I might have to bring that forecast a bit closer. Someone's getting sick of waiting as 133 BTC buy order has now appeared right at the top of the bids. Unlikely to be fake that high up the list. Seats + Popcorn then.

LoL. I wouldn't worry about it. The market's well beyond the reach of trolls now. I'm not really! I got into dark late.. mined some and now buy. I'm glad I didn't get into dark from the start I would sold all my coins long ago and be kicking myself. The difficulty to mine (so people hold as opposed to paying their electricity bill - albeit smaller with X11), the fairly stable price (rising!) and the kickass dev and community around this coin all make it really exciting. The repetitive fud merchants are just incredibly annoying. People have really gone out of their way to talk things through and show that the rich list is really well distributed, etc, etc, etc. On the plus side it means I get to buy more cheap dark (thanks lemmings!) And it means traders have something to work with I suppose

Good news! Right now Darkcoin is the only coin having anonymous "send" function! Zerocoin failed!See below for details. The real Zerocoin developer is not even finished with the code yet to create his coin release called "Zerocash". Both of these new coins, Dreamcoin and Libertycoin, came out of nowhere at the same time, both having the words "Zerocoin" in their announcement titles. I went investigating, wanting to invest in one of them if there was any hope of decent returns. I went to Dreamcoin first and discovered the coin dev has already made something like 4-5 coins in the past year, Timecoin, Hashcoin, Matrixcoin, etc. He's basically a serial coin cloner and his last coin was just released in April. Some people managed to contact the Zerocoin anonymity function creator himself on twitter (lots of different posts and info there): https://twitter.com/secparam/status/465971947386720256Both coins are advertised "Zerocoin" while having absolutely no Zerocoin functionality, or even close to it. At best this is false advertising, at worst it's a scam. Then there were claims of "working with the Zerocoin devs" to implement it in Dreamcoin, here is the Zerocoin developer's official response: Next you have the problem that Zerocoin has EXTREMELY complex security vulnerabilities where you're basically required to have absolute trust in the coin creator or he can easily pull Asiacoin type frauds on you. You do not want ANY kind of Zerocoin functionality except possibly from the Zerocash dev himself, and even then, it's still sketchy. The only Zerocoin implementation that will ever be trusted is Zerocash, created by the Zerocoin dev, and even then, most security experts will still probably not trust it due to it's double spend security hazards. Security Warning: It is critical that the modulus N be generated properly and that the factors p, q and all related information be destroyed. These factors are not needed in the protocol. Moreover, any party who learns these factors will be able to double-spend zerocoins[/size]. Note however that knowledge of p, q does not jeopardize the anonymity of Zerocoin.

That is partial information. Some serial coin cloner (Hashcoin, Libertycoin, Dreamcoin) claimed zerocoin integration and the real zerocoin developer exposed it as a fraud.
