From the CLI?
Code:
wget http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/darkcoin-qt OR http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/rc/darkcoin-qt
chmod 755 darkcoin-qt
./darkcoin-qt

From a GUI just go here: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/postponing-masternode-payments-till-may-25th.578/
Pick which version (stable or RC), download, right-click on the downloaded file, properties, permissions tab, tick make executable, double click to run.

1. DarkGravityWave release
2. Mutlipool which pays out in Darkcoin me  Grin
 Grin
4. Hackfest to try and break Darksend (zerocash will probably lead the charge)
5. Dark Wallet to confirm they are officially giving up Not giving up....bring it on  Grin
6. GMaxwell to acknowledge DarkSend is looking pretty close to e-cash vs. Bitcoin
7. Satoshi to move some $100m of coins through DarkSend, maybe just $1 would do it
8. Media to go to town on rights and wrongs of DarkCoin, privacy, e-cash, etc. They have made a start  Grin

I'm going to get in touch with GMaxwell to give some advance notice about looking at Darkcoin towards the end of May or June.

I have something planned for Satoshi  Wink

What is latency to the pool from you? How many packets are lost on an extended (NOT FLOOD) ping?

Drkpool is kind'a sensitive with the workers being banned - perhaps its a DDOS issue?

MarketCap almost $11m again...
Well it is over $11m. Even keeping the current price is great. Small variations up and down are normal. If only Bitcoin would rise again, then DRK would so too.

That's us paused and sinking down from62 to 59.

Liquidity is building nicely in the asks between 59 and62. Nearly 2000 DRK has accumulated below 62 whereas there was none 30 minutes ago.

Now watch a whale swoop down and hoover up all those asks right from under everone's noses just when the 5 minute wave turns around.

Thats how this coin works. About 5 minutes to go.....

I for one think DRK is the perfect currency for the legal retail marijuana industry here in Colorado.

How do we get this moving? Is there an industry newspaper or monthly magazine that retailers or growers read?  Or is the local media the best option?

Are there any local champions we can contact?

What about the people that promoted  Amendment 64 to begin with. Marijuana Policy Project  www.mpp.org thats where I would start.  BTW coins101, I would like to be involved in your marketing efforts.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but can anyone tell me why I'm seeing this on Mintpal?

Sell orders:

0.00668999             200.00000000        1.33799800
0.00666666             64.19223655        0.42794779
(for example)

24 Hour High
0.00622795

How are people selling it for .00668999 or even .00666666 when it hasn't gone over .00622795 ??

Feel the same and I like it. sounds like a live soccer game by a professional narrator on a radio station. (it's really hard to do it).
+1

Proposal: create a DRK internet radio station. Good to promote the coin these days.

I don’t think that is a serious project we should even discuss, they are just trying to build a brand with no substance. The marijuana industry needs a privacy centric coin, so people can buy without being judged because it still carries a social stigma. So darkcoin is clearly the best fit, if you dont care about privacy just use bitcoin.
