Wow. It seems like Darkcoin is a vampire which sucks out every single drop of blood from every other altcoins. May be I should be ready to pick up some DOGE and LTC when their hearts will be almost stopped, dump them after they get resurrected and then buy back that 1000 DRK I once had but can't afford anyomore.  |

Uneasy crocodile standoff right now, over half the orders on either side are bots, someone(s) is(are) shepherding the price again. No idea which bot trade will trigger the frenzy, but it's going to happen, and my take is that the big/smart money has a boatload of vested interest in the price heading north.

RC3 Progress ReportI've had some substantial progress on DarkSend and have figured out how to make our existing system as secure as ring signatures. Vastly improved security, no bloat (from the ring signatures) and without actually having to trust new cryptography (it hasn't been extensively tested like what DarkSend uses) . So I think it'll give us a HUGE advantage in the coming months. More to come soon, I'm going to start implementing this tomorrow.

Vastly improved security, no bloat (from the ring signatures) and without actually having to trust new cryptography. So I think it'll give us a HUGE advantage in the coming months. Is this the client side encrypting your were talking about a couple days ago? Looking forward to more info. Thanks. And are you saying you think you'll be able to implement this for RC3 and not after open-source as was the plan with ring sigs? If so, holy fuck awesome. |
