All you guys trading DRK on Mintpal exchange you might want to consider other alternatives for a bit until the people at Mintpal come forward with how / why / when they where compromised. They may be keeping quite to not reveal further weakness, nobody really knows for sure. I see the volume of DRK far passes any others on Mint. While nothing will likely happen, its just a heads up for now to be careful incase it is something more going on that we don't know.

Show me info on MintPal the company..."UK-based" is about it. Furthermore their own website security says they're able to prevent against SQL injections and yet the Vericoin breach was a...SQL injection. Bitfinex has worked to become one of the top BTC exchanges while creating swaps, margin trading and shorting and they regularly perform audits. Legit and credible. |

Hey Guys, based on all the feedback and on a long meeting with DRKLord I now have ready the revised samples of the wallet. At this point I think we have something that will truly distinguish Darkcoin from other crypto currencies and give the project the presentation it deserves. We have incorporated most of your suggestions and are close to something final, changes beyond this point will come from the development team and I believe they will choose the option we will implement first with the best interest of Darkcoin at heart. Maybe the new wallet will persuade some of you fools to move your money off shitty bot-riddled exchanges. Looks good but change the Network wifi symbol or we'll get people demanding we fix their intertubes for them.  Also I suspect lots of people will moan about the sudden greenery. Me I don't care I just want the ability to password protect the wallet and thus my transaction history. Can't have passersby spotting my frequent purchases at inflatable-nuns.com. First and last one look least cluttered to me, and I like the prominent Backup button. |
